
Senior Product Marketing Manager, Commercial Desktop Planning

Own the end‑to‑end customer insight strategy for the commercial desktop portfolio, synthesizing global customer, partner, and market signals into clear problem statements and strategic imperatives.
Lead deep analysis of technology, market, and competitive dynamics to identify long‑term growth opportunities and shape portfolio direction across form factors and segments.
Set the vision and facilitate senior‑level ideation to define breakthrough concepts and differentiated solutions that address customer pain points and advance HP’s commercial desktop leadership.
Define product strategy and requirements at a portfolio level, leading complex feature trade‑off decisions aligned to customer value, platform strategy, technology readiness, and investment priorities.
Influence and align cross‑business product leaders to deliver cohesive, differentiated experiences across HP’s commercial desktop ecosystem.
Partner with engineering, design, and architecture leaders to incubate, prototype, and mature concepts, ensuring solutions are technically sound, scalable, and future‑ready.
Develop and own business cases for major initiatives, including TAM definition, HP revenue and margin opportunity, investment needs, and ROI, to drive executive‑level prioritization decisions.
Lead cross‑functional alignment throughout the concept phase, ensuring seamless transition from strategy to roadmap and execution while managing ambiguity and risk.
Shape go‑to‑market strategy and narrative in partnership with downstream product management, marketing, and sales, ensuring a compelling, differentiated story for launch and ongoing positioning.
Drive portfolio performance and business outcomes, supporting long‑range business planning and guiding products and solutions to meet revenue, profitability, and strategic objectives.
Education & Experience Recommended
Bachelor's (undergraduate) degree inbusinessadministration, marketing,orengineering/technicalfield of studypreferred
Advanced university degreerequired(e.g., MBA) ordemonstrableequivalent experience.

Strong capability to lead and manage external partners and ecosystems, ensuring alignment with product strategy, development timelines, and quality expectations.

The pay range for this role is$130,700to$205,200USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
