Job Description

We’re looking for a strategic, customer-obsessed Senior Product Marketing Manager to lead and develop our B2B product marketing team at E.ON Next. You’ll play a key role in shaping how we take our business energy products and solutions to market, turning complex propositions into compelling customer experiences that drive growth, retention and long-term value.

Working closely with our Commercial, Proposition, Digital, CX and Marketing teams, you’ll lead our go-to-market strategy across business energy tariffs and innovative energy solutions, including EV charging, commercial heat, solar and battery storage. You’ll combine customer insight, commercial thinking and creative storytelling to make sure our propositions stand out, meet customer needs and deliver measurable results.

Here’s a taste of what you’ll be doing

  • Lead, coach and develop a high-performing B2B product marketing team, creating an inclusive culture where people can grow, innovate and deliver their best work.
  • Shape and own go-to-market strategies for business energy tariffs, contract renewals and innovative energy solutions, ensuring every launch delivers meaningful commercial impact.
  • Turn complex energy products, pricing and market insights into clear, compelling messaging that brings our propositions to life and shows customers the value we can offer.
  • Use customer research, competitor insights and market trends to identify opportunities, strengthen our positioning and shape future propositions.
  • Work collaboratively across Commercial, Sales, Proposition, Digital and Marketing teams to deliver joined-up campaigns, improve customer journeys and support acquisition, retention and cross-sell.
  • Track performance, measure the impact of launches and campaigns, and use data to continually improve conversion, customer satisfaction and business growth.

Are we the perfect match?

  • You have significant experience in B2B product marketing, with a strong track record of developing and delivering successful go-to-market strategies.
  • You’re an experienced people leader who knows how to coach, mentor and develop talent, build high-performing teams and create a positive, inclusive culture.
  • You’re commercially minded and data-driven, able to turn customer insights and performance metrics into clear strategies that deliver measurable results.
  • You’re a confident stakeholder manager who can influence at senior leadership level, bring teams together around a shared vision and turn complex challenges into clear plans.
  • You’re a brilliant communicator and storyteller, able to simplify complex products and propositions into engaging messages that resonate with different business customers.

It would be great if you had

  • Experience in the energy sector, particularly business energy tariffs, commercial supply contracts or energy solutions such as EV charging, solar, heat, batteries or flexibility.
  • A strong understanding of the B2B customer lifecycle, including acquisition, contract renewals, retention, winback and cross-selling.
  • Experience working with CRM and marketing automation platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot, using data to measure campaign effectiveness and customer behaviour.
  • Experience partnering with sales teams, account managers, brokers or digital commerce teams to improve sales enablement and customer conversion.
  • An interest in the energy transition and how innovative, lower-carbon solutions can help businesses reduce costs, improve efficiency and achieve their sustainability goals.
