Job Description

About Oleria

Oleria provides adaptive and autonomous identity security solutions to protect and enable today's dynamic enterprise. Our platform delivers unparalleled fine-grained access visibility, including usage insights at the individual resource level, so CISOs can confidently answer: Who has access to what? How did they get it? What are they doing with it?

With our recent launch of Adaptive Identity Governance, we have a massive opportunity to disrupt the legacy IGA market. We're replacing multi-year, multi-million dollar deployments with a data-first, AI-native platform that gets organizations governed in under an hour. It's a wide-open market, and we're just getting started.

Founded by cybersecurity veterans Jim Alkove and Jagadeesh Kunda, who built and secured platforms used by billions globally, we've raised $60M+ from Evolution Equity Partners, Salesforce Ventures, Tapestry VC, Zscaler, and other technology luminaries. Our Fortune 500 and public sector clients trust us to protect millions of users worldwide.

We're proud to be recognized as a LinkedIn Best Startup and a Best Startup to Work For by Built In. Join a well-funded team with real traction, a game-changing new product, and a mission to deliver identity security that sets your business free.

The Mission

You are the voice of Oleria in the market — and you build that voice yourself. You own competitive positioning, customer proof points, and the IGA/platform messaging that arms the entire go-to-market motion. You know our product, our customers, and our competitors better than anyone else in the company — and you use AI to turn that knowledge into materials that close deals and win categories at a velocity traditional PMMs can't match. This is a senior individual contributor role with no team underneath you and no agency to hand things off to. You write the displacement playbooks, build the case studies, create the enablement content, and sit in the room when analysts form opinions.

This role will require periodic travel, including to our HQ based in Bellevue, WA.

What You Ship

  • AI-assisted competitive intelligence: automated monitoring of competitor messaging, product updates, and customer sentiment — synthesized into actionable briefs weekly, not quarterly

  • Sales enablement content generated at startup speed: first drafts in hours using AI, refined with domain expertise, shipped same-week

  • Customer case studies and reference programs with Fortune 500 enterprises

  • Sales enablement content: battle cards, objection handling, ROI models, demo scripts

  • Operationalization guides and maturity models that help customers succeed post-purchase

  • Analyst-ready materials for Gartner, Forrester, and industry briefings

  • Pricing and packaging support as the platform evolves

  • Product/Platform launch messaging and go-to-market materials

What We Look For

  • 5–8 years in B2B product marketing, ideally in cybersecurity, identity, or enterprise infrastructure

  • You are AI-native. You use Claude, GPT, and AI research tools as core infrastructure — not a nice-to-have. Competitive analysis that used to take a week takes you a day. A displacement playbook draft is done by end of day, not end of quarter. Show us your AI workflow.

  • You are a hands-on keyboard. There is no agency, no junior team, no contractor to hand work to. You write the battle card, you build the ROI model, you draft the analyst brief. Series A means you are the marketing team for your function.

  • You’ve built competitive displacement programs—not just battle cards, but full motions that targeted specific vendor install bases and drove pipeline

  • Deep comfort with technical products. You can read an architecture diagram, understand API integrations, and translate technical differentiation into business value

  • Experience building customer proof programs: case studies, reference customers, joint conference appearances, customer advisory boards

  • You write well. Not “marketing copy”—clear, credible, technical content that security practitioners respect

  • You use AI tools to accelerate research, drafting, and competitive analysis. You ship faster because of it

  • Experience working directly with analysts (Gartner, Forrester) and understanding how to influence market perception

Nice to Have

  • Direct experience in identity governance (IGA), identity security, or IAM markets

  • Experience marketing platforms (multi-product) rather than point solutions

  • Background at a company that displaced an entrenched incumbent

  • Familiarity with enterprise sales cycles and CISO buyer personas

  • Experience rebuilding or standing up a product marketing function from scratch at a Series A/B company

What Makes This Role Rewarding

We believe in taking care of the people who power our mission. Here's how we invest in you:

  • Compensation that reflects your value – We strive to offer compensation that matches leading companies in our industry, because exceptional talent deserves exceptional recognition.

  • Health coverage you can count on – Your wellbeing matters. We cover 100% of medical, dental, and vision premiums for you, and contribute generously toward coverage for your family.

  • Protection and peace of mind – Life, short-term disability, and long-term disability insurance are on us, so you can focus on what matters most.

  • Time for what matters – Whether you're welcoming a new child (12 weeks fully-paid parental leave), recharging with our flexible PTO, or enjoying 13 paid holidays, we support your life beyond work.

  • A culture that brings out your best – Join a team where everyone takes initiative and accountability for our shared success. You'll be surrounded by colleagues who ask bold questions, challenge assumptions, and never stop learning. Here, individual brilliance amplifies through collective impact as we collaborate to achieve what none of us could alone. This is where your growth and our mission become one.

Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
