Job Description

Visual Studio Copilot is redefining how millions of developers build, understand, and evolve software inside the world’s most powerful IDE. As a Product Manager on the Visual Studio Copilot team, you will shape intelligent, AIpowered developer experiences that are deeply integrated into Visual Studio - bringing together chat, code completions, integrated IDE actions, and agentic capabilities into a cohesive, trusted copilot.

This role sits at the intersection of developer productivity, AI platform capabilities, and largescale IDE ecosystems. You will work across multiple Visual Studio and Copilot teams to drive a unified product vision that helps developers move faster while maintaining quality, control, and trust.

  • Partner closely with engineering, design, research, and data science to ship high quality, scalable AI powered features inside Visual Studio.

  • Translate developer needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and success metrics, grounded in real customer pain points and usage signals.

  • Drive cross team alignment across Visual Studio, Copilot, and adjacent AI platform teams to reduce fragmentation and deliver a unified experience.

  • Understand the competitive landscape (e.g., AInative IDEs and assistants) and help define strategies that differentiate Visual Studio Copilot on trust, depth, and enterprise readiness.
