👋 We are Kilter, and we’re on a mission to transform sustainable agriculture and food production by harnessing the power of technology. We need to grow more food on less land while protecting nature and the environment.

Kilter develops groundbreaking technology that addresses major challenges for farmers in a sustainable way. Our fully automated agricultural robot, Kilter AX-1, represents a paradigm shift in weed control. Using advanced AI and patented nozzle technology, AX-1 precisely targets weeds without harming crops or soil. This reduces herbicide use by up to 95% and increases crop yield by up to 35%.

🚀 About the role

Our product team is small and new: our CPO and a Senior Product Manager. We are looking for an experienced product manager who wants to own our digital products and the AX-1 user experience, from the first sketch to what ships. You'll set direction, and you'll also do the hands-on work yourself.

🔧 What will you do as a Product Manager at Kilter?

• Own the product area covering Kilter Farm, Kilter Remote and the AX-1 operator experience
• Understand and define market needs through farm visits, customer interviews and partner meetings in markets in Europe and Australia
• Turn insights into prioritized desired outcomes, and keep the roadmap for your area up to date
• Sketch and prototype, and use the prototypes to test ideas with customers and give our engineers something concrete to build from
• Write clear specifications and user stories, and work closely with our small in-house engineering team through planning, refinement and delivery
• Make sure what we release delivers the desired outcomes and meets the needs of customers and stakeholders
• Work directly with the CPO on product strategy

• You have at least 5 years of product management experience and have shipped real products
• You drive your own agenda: you see what needs doing and do it without waiting to be asked
• You enjoy both sides of the job: strategy and priorities one day, acceptance criteria and a prototype flow the next
• You think like a product developer and care about how things work in practice, not only the framework
• You are comfortable using design tools to visualize ideas
• You communicate clearly in English
