Job Description

We are looking for a talented Senior Platform Product Manager to drive the evolution of Bally’s Media’s backend video and content delivery systems, ensuring that our platform capabilities stay in lockstep with our consumer-facing product roadmap. This role will also play a key role in how our apps integrate with the larger Bally ecosystem of apps and systems to as we work toward a unified app experience.

You’ll own the strategy and execution for the foundational systems that power Bally Sports Live and Stadium, including our video pipeline, CMS, APIs, and service integrations. Your work will directly impact how quickly new content, features, and interactive experiences can be built, published, and scaled across our mobile, web, and CTV platforms that delight our fans and drive engagement, retention and viewership.

You’ll work closely with consumer-facing product and engineering teams (internally and externally), back end and broadcast engineering teams, ideal for a PM who thrives at the intersection of technical systems and user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Define the platform product roadmap across video control systems, content management, metadata, personalization and APIs that serve Bally’s Media applications and ensuring backend systems are 1-2 steps ahead of frontend applications
• Partner with consumer product teams to ensure backend services evolve to support new consumer facing features
• Collaborate with the programming, editors, producers, and broadcast operations teams to ensure they have the tools to efficiently publish, manage and stream live and on-demand content
• Drive end-to-end product execution, applying Agile XP principles with a scrappy entrepreneurial mindset to achieve business outcomes and enable exceptional viewer experiences
• Work with the data and engineering teams to ensure platform services support personalization, analytics and monetization requirements
• Establish and monitor KPIs for platform health including video quality metrics (buffering, start times, bitrate, resolution), latency and feature adoption/satisfaction
• Provide leadership to your cross-functional product team, consistently articulating product strategy, sharing learnings both good and bad, making difficult decisions and being accountable for them, prioritizing ruthlessly and nurturing strong collaborative relationships within the team

Salary: $120,000-$170,000 CAD
