Senior Product Manager Opportunities

Retail Banking Services (RBS) is the public face of CommBank, serving more than 10 million personal and small business customers. Within RBS, the Home Buying domain is responsible for delivering commercially sustainable home lending outcomes while maintaining high standards of customer experience, product integrity and regulatory compliance.

Supporting ongoing growth, we have several Senior Product Manager opportunities within the Channel Engagement & Speciality Product Crew These senior practitioner roles suit experienced Senior Product Managers with strong commercial judgement, autonomy and influence, requiring clear strategy and disciplined execution in highly regulated environments.

The team holds end‑to‑end accountability for home lending products, spanning product strategy, pricing, governance and performance, ensuring solutions are competitive, commercially viable and compliant. These roles will specifically be supporting the RMG / White Label and Referral Source Program squads.

Do work that matters
As a Senior Product Manager, you act as a senior commercial and governance leader, partnering closely with Product Owners and cross‑functional teams to translate strategy into priorities, manage risk and deliver agreed customer and commercial outcomes within a high‑visibility, scaled Crew.

In these roles, you will

  • Partner with Product Owners to deliver strategic outcomes within defined risk, conduct and regulatory parameters

  • Own key elements of the end‑to‑end operating model for home lending products and programs

  • Lead risk, compliance and governance outcomes, including DDO obligations, regulatory uplift and control enhancements

  • Identify, assess and manage product, conduct and commercial risks across the product lifecycle, including incidents and remediation

  • Translate strategy into robust governance artefacts, roadmaps and delivery plans that withstand regulatory scrutiny

  • Prepare high‑quality risk committee and board papers and act as a senior delegate on matters requiring judgement or escalation

We’re interested in hearing from people who have

  • Extensive Product Management experience within Financial Services, operating in highly regulated environments

  • Strong operational risk, governance and incident management capability, including control frameworks and remediation

  • Proven ability to balance commercial outcomes, customer value and regulatory expectations

  • Experience influencing outcomes in complex, matrixed organisations with senior stakeholders

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive and board‑level papers

  • Strong analytical capability with disciplined execution and a track record of delivering sustainable products at pace
