Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE

As Senior Product Manager for Localization & Versioning, you will help shape a new key product within the Content Area in the Marketing Domain. You will help build capabilities that enable H&M to create, adapt, and scale content across markets and channels in a faster, smarter, and more automated way.

In this high-impact role, you will establish our content versioning setup, reduce manual work, and create a more efficient digital foundation for localizing campaigns, images, moving media, and other content based on customer and market needs.

You will work across a product landscape spanning content planning and production tools, Digital Asset Management, copy and translation, content analytics and other marketing technologies. We are looking for someone who understands end-to-end content flows and can translate business needs into clear product direction, roadmap priorities, and measurable value.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Lead the Localization & Versioning product end-to-end, defining scope, product vision, roadmap, and delivery priorities together with the business stakeholders.
  • Build a new product capability from an early-stage setup by identifying gaps, opportunities, and dependencies across the content ecosystem
  • Drive the shift from manual ways of working towards a more digitalized and automated content versioning process
  • Own backlog prioritization across business, user, technical, and integration needs
  • Collaborate closely with Creative Production and marketing technology teams across planning and steering, content production, activation, insights, and analytics
  • Explore how existing and future tools, such as Smartly and AEM, can support localization, versioning, automation, and scalable content workflows
  • Translate complex stakeholder needs into clear requirements, product decisions, and business impact
  • Help define early success measures, including gap analysis, roadmap creation, toolbox opportunities, and requirements for future platform changes

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

You will be part of the Content Area within Marketing, collaborating with teams across assortment curation, content production and asset management, product enrichment, copy and translations at H&M.

Key stakeholders include Creative Production, engineering and tech leads, other marketing technology teams such as DAM and AEM, and business stakeholders working with planning and steering, activation, and content analytics. This role requires close collaboration across creative and technical teams, with the ability to connect user needs, business priorities, and technical possibilities.

WHO YOU ARE

We believe you are a senior product leader who can create structure in ambiguity, build trust with diverse stakeholders, and turn complex business needs into scalable product solutions.

We are looking for people who have...

  • Deep expertise in product management, including product strategy, lifecycle management, roadmap creation, delivery, prioritization, and measurable business impact
  • Proven experience working in complex, connected product landscapes where tools, platforms, data, integrations, and user journeys need to work together end-to-end
  • Strong technical understanding, particularly around integrations, APIs, platform ecosystems, product data flows, or connected digital tools
  • Experience driving digital transformation, automation, or process improvement in environments with manual or fragmented ways of working
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work closely with both creative/business stakeholders and engineering teams
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, conduct gap analysis, define requirements, and build a clear product roadmap from an early-stage or evolving setup

We also value people who are...

  • Curious, proactive, forward-leaning, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Holistic in their product thinking, with a genuine interest in the full content flow beyond one specific tool
  • Commercially minded and focused on how product decisions create business value and efficiency
  • Clear communicators who can connect strategy with execution and make complex topics easy to understand
  • Comfortable working with creative stakeholders where needs may be visual, subjective, or not always fully articulated
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced environment with constantly evolving needs

BONUS IF YOU HAVE

  • Experience working with platforms such as Smartly, Creative Force, Creative X, DAM, AEM, or Figma
  • Experience working with content creation, versioning, and localization
  • Exposure to global e-commerce or platform ecosystems
  • Experience from retail
