As a part of Walmart’s eCommerce Product Organization, you’ll be the voice of our customer. By putting the customer at the forefront, we have the ability to help customers save both time and money no matter how they shop with us, and reach them in new, unexpected ways.

Walmart’s Fulfillment Customer Experience team is responsible for the fulfillment experiences of millions of customers — ensuring they get whatever they want, whenever they want, however they want, with a perfect order every time. As a Product Manager on the Amends & Substitutions team, you will drive the product vision and strategy for providing customers flexibility and confidence in their orders, especially when things go wrong, ensuring we exceed customer expectations on every order.

You will work closely with engineering, operations, supply chain, stores, fulfillment centers, customer support, and business stakeholders to define capabilities that perfect order, optimize fulfillment outcomes, and create transparent customer experiences. We are also looking for product leaders who have experience leveraging modern AI tools and building AI-native applications and experiences, AI-assisted decisioning to create intuitive, scalable, and customer-centric products in the new ways of building for our customers.

About Team:
Our team gathers information about customer needs and applies our technological expertise and strategic thinking to create a product roadmap. The product journey is designed to leverage technological excellence to drive customer satisfaction. Walmart's philosophy of Everyday Low Prices is not an easy one to achieve. Being cost-effective is critical because it allows us to optimize all processes and verticals while striving for excellence. Our team is a big part of making this possible.

What you'll do:

  • Define and own the product vision and roadmap: Set ambitious 10x growth goals, prioritize initiatives, and translate strategic objectives into actionable plans.
  • Deeply understand our customers: Conduct user research, analyze data, and uncover insights to continuously improve the customer experience.
  • Optimize the end-to-end funnel: Drive engagement, conversion, perfect orders, and retention through customer-first product strategies.
  • Champion innovation: Experiment with new features, optimize product offerings, and explore strategic investments with the highest customer and business impact.
  • Build AI-native customer experiences: Partner with engineering and data science teams to leverage AI tools, large language models, intelligent recommendations, and automation capabilities to improve customer outcomes and operational efficiency.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with engineers, designers, business operations, and other teams to deliver impactful results.
  • Measure and evangelize success: Track key metrics, communicate progress, and build enthusiasm for the program’s achievements.

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 5 years experience in product management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, business administration, or related area and 3+ years experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products.
  • Experience building or scaling AI-native applications, generative AI experiences, conversational products, recommendation systems, or intelligent workflow automation solutions.
  • Familiarity with modern AI product development tools, experimentation frameworks, prompt design, and data-driven personalization strategies.
