Job Description

Cross Border science is seeking a talented and experienced Product Manager to lead the AI/ML product charter for our businesses. In this role, you will define and drive the product strategy for machine learning-powered solutions that enable selection growth, demand forecasting, product discovery, and relevance across global marketplaces. You will work closely with applied scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to translate complex ML capabilities into scalable, customer-centric products. The ideal candidate will own the end-to-end product lifecycle—from identifying high-impact opportunities and defining requirements to driving execution and measuring business outcomes. You should be comfortable navigating ambiguity, synthesizing technical and business inputs, and influencing cross-functional teams without direct authority. A strong track record of delivering 0-to-1 ML/AI products at scale, combined with excellent judgment and clear communication, is essential for success in this role.

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

Preferred Qualifications

- Demonstrated ability to define a product vision and multi-year roadmap in ambiguous, fast-evolving domains; experience translating organizational goals into a coherent AI/ML charter with clear priorities and success metrics.
- Strong understanding of machine learning concepts (supervised/unsupervised learning, deep learning, NLP, generative AI) and the ability to engage meaningfully with scientists and engineers on model design, data pipelines, and experimentation frameworks.
- Proven track record of influencing senior leadership and cross-functional teams (science, engineering, business) without direct authority; skilled at building alignment across competing priorities.

About Amazon

Amazon is guided by four principles: customer obsession rather than competitor focus, passion for invention, commitment to operational excellence, and long-term thinking. We are driven by the excitement of building technologies, inventing products, and providing services that change lives. We embrace new ways of doing things, make decisions quickly, and are not afraid to fail. We have the scope and capabilities of a large company, and the spirit and heart of a small one.

Together, Amazonians research and develop new technologies from Amazon Web Services to Alexa on behalf of our customers: shoppers, sellers, content creators, and developers around the world.

Our mission is to be Earth's most customer-centric company. Our actions, goals, projects, programs, and inventions begin and end with the customer top of mind.

You'll also hear us say that at Amazon, it's always "Day 1." What do we mean? That our approach remains the same as it was on Amazon's very first day - to make smart, fast decisions, stay nimble, invent, and focus on delighting our customers.
