Senior Product Manager – Core HR

We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager – Core HR to support the continuous development and optimization of enterprise HR technology solutions for a leading organization based in Brussels, Belgium
In this role, you will manage and enhance the Core HR application landscape, combining product management, functional analysis, technical configuration, and project coordination. You'll work closely with business stakeholders and technology partners to deliver innovative HR solutions while ensuring reliable day-to-day operations.
Contract Details
- Location: Brussels, Belgium
- Work Model: Hybrid (minimum 3 days on-site per week)
- Start Date: ASAP
- Contract End: 31 December 2026 (extension possible)
- Employment Type: Freelance / Contract
- Schedule: Full-time (Monday–Friday)
Your Responsibilities
Operational Management (25%)
- Manage the day-to-day operation of Core HR applications.
- Handle incident, problem, and change management activities.
- Configure minor system enhancements.
- Oversee application lifecycle management.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation.
- Coordinate with external vendors and support partners.
Build & Change (75%)
- Gather and analyze business requirements.
- Prepare business cases and functional analyses.
- Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
- Configure and optimize SAP SuccessFactors.
- Prepare and execute testing activities.
- Develop technical documentation.
- Deliver user training and ongoing support.
- Lead smaller implementation projects as a technical lead or ICT project coordinator.

Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience working with HR applications or HRIS platforms.
- Minimum 3 years' hands-on experience implementing SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and Onboarding.
- Strong experience with:
- SAP SuccessFactors configuration
- Functional analysis
- System implementation
- HR technology solutions
- In-depth knowledge of the SuccessFactors Data Framework.
- Experience with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and proactively.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent English, plus strong Dutch or French language skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP SuccessFactors Certification.
- Experience with additional SAP SuccessFactors modules.
- Experience integrating enterprise HR systems.
- Familiarity with:
- SailPoint (IAM)
- Attentia
- Planpoint
- Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Previous experience as a technical lead or project manager.
- Native Dutch speaker.
