Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
• 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc).
• Experience integrating generative AI tools or Large Language Model (LLM) interfaces into workflows.
• Experience taking consumer software, media/video platforms, or connected hardware experiences from conception to launch.

Preferred qualifications

• Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
• Experience with low-latency real-time video (WebRTC/HLS/CMAF), cloud media pipelines, SDK/platform extensibility, or launching software experiences on consumer hardware.
• Experience applying ML quality tools like evaluations, human and autoraters, to meet and exceed quality goals.
• Demonstrated ability to act as an end-to-end owner who synthesizes consumer needs, system architecture trade-offs, and business unit economics into a compelling multi-year strategy.
• Proven track record of directly prototyping AI tools/workflows, building evaluation harnesses, and shipping AI-powered consumer experiences.

As a Senior Product Manager for Camera Platform and Experiences on the Gemini for Home team, you will own the core camera platform and end-to-end video journeys spearheading flagship camera experiences across the Google Home app, next-generation Google hardware, smart displays, TVs, and third-party partner apps. We are looking for a true "AI Builder" and full-stack product owner, someone who thinks big about ambient, multimodal home experiences, gets their hands dirty prototyping tools and AI-native workflows directly with engineering, and obsesses over quality.The Google Home team focuses on hardware, software and services offerings for the home, ranging from thermostats to smart displays. The Home team researches, designs, and develops new technologies and hardware to make users’ homes more helpful. US: $192000 - $278000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits
