This is a flexible position and has the option of working in our Toronto office full time, hybrid throughout the week or working entirely remotely within Canada.
Vena is the only agentic AI-powered FP&A platform purpose-built to fully amplify the Microsoft technology ecosystem. With the launch of Vena Copilot in May 2024, Vena established leadership in AI innovation for FP&A, helping organizations transform the Office of Finance by enabling the adoption of AI. We are on a mission to help Finance professionals transform their day-to-day, to drive higher levels of productivity, increased business agility, and ultimately unlock their organization’s true strategic potential.
As Senior Product Manager of Vena Copilot, you will build upon Vena Copilot’s foundation and take it to the next level by continuing to improve Vena platform’s AI capabilities, including the build and launch of net new AI agents to create a robust taskforce of FP&A agents that help finance professionals in their day-to-day. You will be the strategic owner of the portfolio and drive the end-to-end product lifecycle for Vena Copilot from ideation to product launch, and work with multiple cross-functional leaders and stakeholders to drive post-launch adoption of Vena’s AI offerings. You will be in one of the most critical roles at Vena, as we scale and push ourselves to become the next great Canadian software company.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Use qualitative and quantitative techniques to understand current and future customer and user needs and pain points
- Stay on top of industry trends and competitive movement to ensure Vena continues to be the leader in AI innovation for FP&A
- Understand Vena’s corporate strategy and build a comprehensive Product strategy and multi-year roadmap for AI, to achieve customer outcomes that drive key strategic results
- Prioritize product investments and trade-offs using solid analysis and intuitive intelligence to create compelling business cases that quantify ROI
- Work closely with the Product team, Design/UX, Content, Engineering, Architecture, Platform team to build amazing product experiences that delight Vena’s growing customer base
- Work closely with cross-functional leaders and stakeholders from Marketing, Sales & Pre-Sales, Customer Success, Professional Services, Support, Legal, Security, Strategy & Ops, and more, to drive Go-to-market motions for your product area
- Participate in industry events, and lead customer and partner facing engagements as a product expert
- Inspire, energize, and motivate your colleagues to build world-class AI offerings that help our customers everyday
We'd Love to See
- 5+ years of Software Product Management experience (SaaS experience is preferred)
- Experience building and launching an AI product is strongly preferred
- Experience working in the CPM, FP&A or Fintech space is a plus
- You enjoy spending time with customers and empathize with their pain points
- You love working with Engineering and Architecture and participating in key technical conversations to clearly define your MVP and plan to iterate
- You are highly motivated to leverage AI to revolutionize the Office of Finance and improve the day-to-day for Finance users
- You are a self-starter and visionary, and are experienced in creating a strategy and driving alignment within the Product & Technology function, and with cross-functional teams
- You enjoy simplifying a complex technical area into simple, easily communicable product marketing narratives
- You are a leader who easily navigates diverse points of view, and inspires and rallies cross-functional strengths to drive meaningful outcomes for our customers
- Interest in AI and willingness to explore AI-driven solutions to enhance performance and drive efficiencies
- Experience working with Cloud - Azure hosted environments is preferred
- Proven track record of managing products, innovation, and a general curiosity and drive for building great products that drove meaningful strategic outcomes
- Strong written and oral communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Solid understanding of Agile practices
The base salary range for this role is 132,090 - 178,710 CAD.
