This Senior Product Manager role is pivotal in shaping NerdWallet’s future by defining and owning the evolution of our on-site, AI-driven user journey. You will reimagine how consumers interact with our content, tools, and guidance, leading the strategy and execution of intelligent, personalized experiences. Your work will play a critical role in transforming how users navigate complex financial decisions—delivering greater clarity, confidence, and value at scale.

In this role, you’ll build and scale AI-powered features—from conversational interfaces to recommendation systems—that deepen engagement and deliver more relevant, actionable insights. You’ll combine strategic vision with hands-on execution, collaborating with cross-functional partners to integrate robust solutions that enhance our ecosystem. The ideal candidate has a strong background in fintech, consumer finance, or growth-focused product management. They bring proven success building AI-powered products and have a solid understanding of SEO. They thrive in fast-paced environments where experimentation and innovation drive measurable results. You’ll continuously monitor product performance metrics to optimize user engagement, conversion, and long-term value, ensuring that every enhancement moves both the customer and the business forward.


This role reports to the Director, Engineering for the SEO Team.


Where you can make an impact:

  • Own Product Strategy: Lead the end to end vision and roadmap, partnering with data, design, engineering and marketing to drive growth across organic funnels.

  • Accelerate Growth: Launch and optimize experiences that improve customer outcomes and scale the business.

  • Leverage Market Insights: Conduct thorough market analysis and user research to identify opportunities, inform strategy and guide product decisions.

  • Champion Consumer-Centric Innovation: Deeply understand consumer behaviors and needs to deliver personalized high-impact product experiences.

  • Drive Execution: Partner cross functionally to deliver new features and product enhancements on time and with measurable impact.

  • Optimize Performance: Use data, A/B testing and experimentation to improve engagement, conversion and retention.

  • Advocate for the Customer: Keep user needs and outcomes at the heart of every decision.

  • Mentor and Collaborate: Support junior PMs, fostering growth, inclusion and shared success.

Your experience:

  • 5+ years in product management position, preferably within fintech, consumer finance, or a related domain

  • 2+ years of experience in a senior level product management position

  • Experience leading the development and launch of AI-powered product features (e.g., conversational interfaces, recommendation systems, personalization) from concept to scale

  • Deep understanding of technical, on-page, and programmatic SEO, including how search algorithms influence content discovery and ranking

  • Understanding on how AI-driven experiences intersect with SEO (e.g., crawlability, indexation, and evolving search surfaces)

  • Proven success in managing and launching impactful product initiatives ideally within fintech

  • Experience scaling products in fast-growing businesses - balancing quick wins with long-term investments

  • Skilled in leveraging data analytics tools and methodologies to inform decision-making

  • Familiarity with A/B testing, user research techniques and data driven product development

  • Ability to work closely with engineering teams and technical workflows

  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders without direct authority

  • This is a remote position and a person can be located anywhere in Canada (with the exception of Quebec).
