Join Our Team as a Senior Product Manager

Ideally this role will be located in Melbourne, FL, but we will consider hybrid/remote candidates

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As a Senior Product Manager at Orion180, you will operate with General Manager-level accountability, with full ownership of pricing, product strategy, and portfolio performance across your assigned states. You will be trusted to lead end-to-end, make decisions based on data, and drive outcomes that directly impact growth and profitability. You will:

• Own the full rate and product lifecycle across assigned states—from strategy through regulatory approval, if needed, to market impact
• Lead pricing strategy aligned with profitability goals, competitive positioning, and long-term enterprise growth
• Serve as a subject matter expert for your portfolio, influencing enterprise decisions and acting as a trusted voice with leadership
• Drive complex product initiatives that improve underwriting outcomes, quoting experience, and policy issuance efficiency
• Use data to win — leveraging internal analytics, competitive insights, and emerging trends to stay ahead of the market
• Build and execute a product roadmap that balances speed, rigor, and business impact
• Partner deeply across the organization (actuarial, underwriting, claims, data science, technology) to deliver scalable, integrated solutions
• Identify and unlock strategic opportunities across automation, data optimization, customer insights, and distribution expansion
• Mentor and elevate the team, helping develop the next generation of product leaders
• Continuously improve portfolio performance, driving measurable results in growth, loss ratio, and operational efficiency

This role will own one of our most important and visible states, making it a key driver of company performance and strategy.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

We’re looking for someone who wants more than execution — someone who wants ownership, influence, and impact.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, business, statistics, economics, actuarial science, insurance, or equivalent experience

Experience:

• 8–12+ years of P&C insurance experience in product management, pricing, actuarial, or similar roles
• Deep understanding of ratemaking, regulatory environments, and product lifecycle management
• Proven ability to lead complex initiatives end-to-end in a fast-moving environment
• Strong strategic thinker with the ability to translate data into actionable decisions
• Demonstrated success influencing cross-functional teams without direct authority
• Track record of delivering measurable business outcomes
• Advanced Excel and strong analytical toolkit
• Experience with data platforms or analytics tools is a plus

Preferred Experience:

• Experience mentoring or leading others, with the potential and desire to step into people leadership
• Ability to operate as a trusted advisor to senior leadership
• Exceptional communication skills—able to articulate strategy and drive alignment at all levels

The office environment is fast-paced and collaborative. An employee must be willing and able to work their regularly assigned work schedule onsite, and in times of need, be able to work an extended schedule depending on company or departmental needs, project requirements, or customer demands.

While performing general duties for this position, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and/or walk around (including the use of stairs). Other demands include the ability to openly communicate with others by talking, listening, comprehending, and reading; being able to lift light objects (<25 lbs); and using standard office equipment such as computers, printers, and phones.  In addition, there is an occasional need to bend, twist, or squat down to open/close cabinets and reach for files or other standard office-type objects.
