In this role, you'll:

Be responsible for leading products and initiatives from planning through to delivery and ongoing improvement. This role drives outcomes that create value for customers and the business, while ensuring products align with Transport for NSW’s strategic goals, stakeholder needs, and customer experience priorities.

The Senior Product Manager will also be responsible for:

  • Developing and owning the product strategy, roadmap and value outcomes, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities, customer needs and technical requirements.
  • Partnering with stakeholders, SMEs and cross-functional teams to translate business, customer and data insights into clear product goals, user stories and delivery priorities.
  • Leading multidisciplinary teams through the end-to-end product lifecycle, from including design, development, launch and continuous improvement of products. , while acting as Product Owner to drive high-quality outcomes.
  • Leveraging customer feedback, market insights and performance data to prioritise opportunities, validate solutions, optimise product performance and deliver measurable business value.
  • Championing the product vision and roadmap, engaging stakeholders, building strong business cases, balancing commercial and customer outcomes, and fostering a culture of agile delivery, collaboration and innovation.

This is a fixed term full-time position (up to 30 June 2027) located at Parramatta.

This role can be based anywhere in New South Wales. The role requires in person attendance on particular days of the week at your local TfNSW office.

About you

You have tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, or equivalent experience.

You are experienced in managing the full product lifecycle, from shaping ideas and strategy through to design, delivery, and continuous improvement in complex environments.

You’re skilled at turning customer and business needs into clear product strategies, roadmaps, and measurable results, using strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

You are confident leading cross-functional teams, championing agile ways of working, and balancing innovation, technical requirements, and commercial priorities to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.

You’re an effective communicator who can build strong relationships, influence decisions, and collaborate with senior leaders, technical teams, and business stakeholders to achieve shared goals.
