Job Description

  • Shape the future of frontline servicing through simpler, more integrated and more effective colleague experiences.

  • Join a high-impact team transforming how thousands of frontline colleagues serve customers across CBA.

  • Grow your career while helping modernise a strategic enterprise platform spanning product, technology, operations, risk and design.

Do Work That Matters

At CommBank, we believe growth drives innovation. Bring your ambition and we’ll help you grow, be part of something bigger and shape what’s next. In this role, you’ll help evolve CommSee 2.0, CBA’s strategic frontline servicing platform, improving how customer-facing teams access information, complete servicing activities and support customers.

You’ll combine strategic product thinking with strong discovery and business analysis capability, identifying customer and colleague problems, simplifying complex processes and translating business needs into clear product outcomes. This role suits someone who enjoys getting close to the problem, can navigate complexity and ambiguity, and brings people together to deliver meaningful customer, colleague and business outcomes.

See yourself in our team

CommSee 2.0 is a strategic platform supporting thousands of frontline colleagues across multiple business units and helping shape the future of assisted banking at CBA. The team is focused on creating a more modern, integrated servicing experience that simplifies frontline workflows, reduces operational complexity and provides colleagues with a stronger view of the customer.

  • Contribute to, and deliver, the CommSee 2.0 product roadmap, translating strategic priorities into clear initiatives, requirements and delivery outcomes.

  • Independently lead discovery across complex customer, colleague and business problems, using data, process analysis and stakeholder insights to identify and validate opportunities.

  • Analyse end-to-end servicing journeys, workflows, systems and processes to identify friction, risk and opportunities for simplification.

  • Translate complex business, technology, operational and regulatory needs into clear product outcomes, requirements and delivery intent.

  • Partner with engineers, designers, architects and stakeholders across operations, risk, technology and frontline business teams.

  • Facilitate workshops and cross-functional discussions to build shared understanding, align stakeholders and shape future-state experiences.

  • Demonstrate strong judgement when balancing customer, colleague, business, technology and risk considerations.

  • Define success measures and use adoption, performance data and customer and colleague feedback to inform prioritisation and continuous improvement.

  • Manage dependencies across squads, platforms and business units, supporting successful delivery, rollout and adoption of new capabilities.

  • Represent CommSee 2.0 in planning, governance and stakeholder forums, clearly communicating priorities, trade-offs, risks and recommendations.

We know great candidates don’t always tick every box. If this role excites you and you believe you can add value, we’d love to hear from you. We’re looking for someone with strong product delivery and business analysis capability, a customer and colleague mindset, and the confidence to navigate complexity in a large, regulated organisation.

  • Experience as a Senior Product Manager or in a comparable product leadership role.

  • Strong product discovery and delivery capability, from problem definition and requirements through to implementation and adoption.

  • The ability to simplify complex business processes, servicing journeys and workflows and translate ambiguity into clear outcomes.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation and influencing skills, including experience working with senior stakeholders and large cross-functional groups.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, with a data-driven approach to prioritisation and decision making.

  • Strong commercial and strategic judgement, with the ability to balance customer, colleague, business, technology and risk considerations.

  • Exposure to legacy transformation, AI-enabled experiences or large-scale enterprise change would be advantageous.
