Product Manager Specialist, Nasdaq Eqlipse Trading Ocean
Nasdaq is seeking a Product Manager to support the Ocean trading platform portfolio within Nasdaq Eqlipse. The role focuses on technology for U.S. equities trading, including alternative trading systems and single-dealer platforms. Working with senior product leaders, sales, engineering, operations, and compliance teams, the Product Manager will help manage product requirements, roadmaps, pre-sales activities, releases, and client implementations across matching, surveillance, regulatory reporting, infrastructure, and operational solutions.
This role offers the opportunity to develop product-management expertise in electronic trading while working with experienced capital-markets and technology professionals. The successful candidate will contribute to mission-critical platforms, engage with leading financial institutions, and gain exposure to the complete product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Support product strategy, roadmap planning, market research, and prioritization for U.S. equities trading solutions.
Assist with pre-sales discovery, demonstrations, proposals, client presentations, solution scoping, and responses to requests for information.
Translate client needs into requirements for matching engines, surveillance, regulatory reporting, infrastructure, hardware, and software.
Coordinate with product management, engineering and operations on product delivery, deployment, change management, incident follow-up, and release readiness.
Monitor client feedback, market trends, competitors, and regulatory developments affecting ATS and single-dealer platforms.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.
At least 8 years of experience in capital markets, fintech, electronic trading, broker-dealer technology, or financial services.
At least 5 years of experience in product management, product strategy, solution management, or a comparable role.
Knowledge of U.S. equities trading, market structure, ATSs, or broker-dealer execution environments.
Experience supporting product roadmaps, requirements, client engagements, demonstrations, or proposals.
Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with matching engines, FIX connectivity, market data, surveillance, regulatory reporting, or low-latency trading systems.
Familiarity with Regulation ATS, Regulation NMS, SEC Rule 15c3-5, CAT, or FINRA reporting requirements.
Experience with enterprise software deployments, production support, change management, or incident management.
