Job Description

Sentra helps organizations discover, classify, and secure sensitive data across modern cloud and SaaS environments. Our platform gives security teams the context they need to reduce risk, improve governance, and enable the business to move faster with confidence.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to own Sentra’s Data Classification domain - one of the core pillars of our platform.

In this role, you will define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for how sensitive data is discovered, classified, and enriched across cloud and SaaS environments. You'll work at the intersection of AI, data, and security to build capabilities that help customers better understand their data, improve governance, and reduce risk.

This is a highly cross-functional role with significant ownership. You will partner closely with Engineering, Data Science, Design, Customer Success, and Sales to drive the evolution of this domain while influencing the broader product strategy as the platform continues to grow.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for Sentra's Data Classification domain.
  • Define how sensitive data is discovered, classified, enriched, and operationalized across the platform.
  • Work closely with customers, prospects, and internal stakeholders to understand challenges and translate them into product direction.
  • Partner with Engineering, Data Science, and Design to deliver scalable, high-impact capabilities from concept to launch.
  • Drive product decisions by balancing customer needs, technical complexity, and business priorities.
  • Define success metrics, analyze product performance, and iterate based on qualitative and quantitative feedback.
  • Collaborate with Product, GTM, and Customer Success teams to ensure successful adoption and clear product positioning.
  • Identify opportunities beyond the classification domain and contribute to the overall platform strategy.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience building B2B SaaS or enterprise software products.
  • Experience owning a significant product domain or platform area from strategy through execution.
  • Strong ability to work through complex, ambiguous technical problems and translate them into clear product direction.
  • Proven experience partnering closely with Engineering and Design teams to deliver products with measurable customer impact.
  • Excellent customer discovery, prioritization, and communication skills.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced startup environment with a high degree of ownership.
  • Ability to connect technical product decisions with business outcomes and customer value.
  • Strategic mindset with strong product judgment and execution skills.
