Senior Product Manager for Weighing & Grading

Are you an experienced Product Manager with strong strategic and technical insight? We are looking for a seasoned Product Manager for our Weighing & Grading Portfolio who can bridge technology, market, and business and who can demonstrate strategic leadership and a commercial mindset within a complex, international organization.

The role

As Product Manager, you will play a key role within our global Product Management team for the Poultry Division. You will report to the Senior Manager of Product Management & Strategic Markets and work closely with 5 other Product Managers.

You will be responsible for the overall product strategy, lifecycle management, and commercial performance of our Weighing & Grading Product Portfolio You will translate market insights, technological developments, and customer needs into strong business cases, product roadmaps, and concrete action plans.

In addition, you will act as a key link between Product Management, Innovation, Sales, Marketing, Service, and Supply Chain, contributing to the global growth and positioning of JBT Marel

Your responsibilities

• Full responsibility for the Weighing & Grading Product Portfolio

• Develop and implement a dynamic product strategy and lifecycle management

• Define strategic objectives, business cases, and growth plans

• Analyze market trends, customer needs, competitor landscape, revenue, margins, and growth opportunities

• Develop marketing and sales documentation and support the sales organization

• Coordinate product launches and market positioning

• Work closely with Innovation on defining future product roadmaps

• Share best practices and lead continuous improvement initiatives

• Collaborate actively with international stakeholders across a matrix organization

Who you are

You are a strong communicator with a strategic and commercial mindset and technical understanding. You know how to connect people, structure processes, and turn ideas into tangible results.

We are looking for someone with:

• A completed academic degree (BSc or MSc) in business, engineering, marketing, or project management

• At least 7 years of experience in Product Management or a comparable role within a technical or industrial environment

• Experience with strategic planning, product marketing, and business development

• A strong interest in technology and the ability to understand complex technical solutions

• A proactive, results-driven, and independent working style

• Excellent communication skills and experience in international collaboration

• Experience within the food processing industry is an advantage

• Proficiency in English spoken and written (additional languages are a plus)

• Strong IT skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce, SAP, and Workday

Travel
You can expect approximately 25 travel days per year, which you can largely plan yourself. These trips will mainly involve collaboration with colleagues in innovation, sales, marketing, service, and supply chain across various international JBT Marel locations, as well as customer visits and participation in exhibitions.
