We offer market-leading products and services, supported by some of the world’s best systems and processes.TheConsumer SpendingCrew has end-to-end responsibility for the Commonwealth Bank Credit CardsandLow-CostCredit Cardsbusiness. We consist of squads that look after the development of the credit card products, acquisition, the growth of our portfolio, our loyalty program and end-to-end process improvement.Within the Origination & Onboarding Streamour visionistohelp customers go from ‘I want to I can spend” with focus oncurating a simple, automated andfastexperiencesfor customers, our objective is toimprove the quality of experience for customers whilereduce turnaround timefromapplicationstart tospendingfrom application form, verification experience through to onboarding their card.

As aSeniorProductManagerin our squad, you will play a pivotal role inshaping our credit cardorigination experience, enhancing customer experiencesto seamlessly onboard, simplify operational processesand drivebusiness growth.Your primary objective will beto supporttheOrigination& Onboarding streamsquadsin deliveringexceptional customer and automatedexperiences.In this exciting and ever evolving role, your strong stakeholder and engagement skills will see you develop and manage key business partner relationships critical to the team’s success.

Key responsibilities will include

  • Drivethedelivery of thecross-functionalsquad’sCredit Cardoriginationwith a particular focus onincreasing conversion from App Start to App Submit.

  • Shape thebusiness requirements toenableexceptional customer outcomes

  • Be the expert in our customers lived experienceutilisingjourney scores, complaints, market knowledgeto identify and deliver on breakpointsand growth opportunities.

  • Oversee and managechange toensure it is deliveredseamlessly,andenhance relationships withkeystakeholdersacrossthe business

  • Responsible for proactively managing risks associated withthebusiness

We want to hear from you if you have

  • Deep expertise in CardsBankingproducts is highly desirable, with demonstrated experienceinthe development and optimisation of banking products across their lifecycle.

  • Proven ability to execute complex initiatives that deliver measurable customer, operational and commercial outcomes while balancing risk, regulatory and technology considerations.

  • A strong customer-first mindset, with the confidence to challenge constructively, advocate for customers and influence decisions that deliver long-term value for both customers and the business.

  • Demonstrated ability toworkacross complex, cross-functional environments, influencing without authority and aligning diverse stakeholders to deliver strategic outcomes.

  • Extensive experience leading product delivery within Agile environments, embedding modern product practices including discovery, experimentation, iterative delivery and outcome-based planning.

  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to distil complex concepts into compelling narratives for audiences

  • Highly developed stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with a proven track record of building trusted relationships, managing competing priorities and driving alignment across multiple business domains.

  • Strong analytical and commercial acumen, leveraging customer insights, behavioural data and performance metrics to inform strategic decisions, prioritise investment and optimise product outcomes.

  • A proactive risk mindset, embedding risk management into product strategy and delivery by identifying, assessing and managing current and emerging risks, while fostering a strong culture of accountability and governance.
