Compensation: $190k–$210k base salary range based on level and experience, plus a generous pre-IPO equity package

Our platform helps real business owners win more jobs, protect profit margins, and manage homeowner relationships professionally so they can build generational companies for their families and communities.

We are now building the next layer: a personal AI employee for every small business in the trades focused on autonomously generating sales for America’s home improvement pros. An assistant who answers every call 24/7, qualifies leads, books appointments, follows up on quotes and estimates, and helps small business owners go from missing half of their business to capturing all of it.

With 15,000+ paying customers, default profitability, and backing from some of the world’s best investors (Founder’s Fund, 8VC, Human Capital, etc.), Hearth is focused on bringing AI to the trades.

The Opportunity

Hearth is at a critical inflection point where we need a strong builder-scientist to help accelerate our growth. We have all the ingredients to provide massive impact to hundreds of thousands of small businesses, and we need the right person to help us accelerate.

We are looking for a world-class Senior Product Manager to add to our team. This is not a role for a manager, a strategist, or a delegator. This is a role for a builder and a scientist—a master of the product craft who wants to get their hands dirty, talk with pros, ship impactful software, and fix impactful, solvable problems.

Your Mission in the First 12 Months:

• Drive the AI Product to $10M ARR You will have the opportunity to focus on the Hearth AI product line, shipping features that directly address the root causes of customer churn, improve monetization, and drive growth.
• Build the Machine: Partner with leadership and engineering to establish the "Hearth Way of Shipping Product"—a lightweight, data-rigorous, customer-centric process that increases clarity, predictability, and shipping velocity.
• Systematically Unblock Engineering Deliver well-scoped, data-informed technical briefs that empower our engineers to build with confidence and efficiency. You will install a rigorous, hypothesis-driven product development engine at Hearth. Your mandate is to own the end-to-end process of turning customer insights and data into shipped products that solve our acute retention problem and unlock our next phase of growth.

Who You Are:

• You are a Builder at heart. You have a relentless bias for action and high agency. You are a doer, not a director, who finds deep satisfaction in the craft of execution and shipping well-crafted software with velocity
• You are a Scientist in practice. You are data-self-sufficient (you write your own SQL), live in product analytics, and think in experiments. You operate from first principles and are obsessed with validating problems with customers before building solutions.
• You are Technically Credible You have a deep understanding of APIs, system architecture, and technical trade-offs. Engineers see you as a true partner in problem-solving, not just a writer of tickets.
• You are a Master of Scope You instinctively find the 80/20 solution and protect the team from distraction. You are comfortable saying "no."

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of hands-on Product Management experience in a B2B or B2SMB SaaS environment.
• Non-negotiable data self-sufficiency Expert-level SQL and deep fluency in a product analytics tool like Amplitude or Mixpanel are deal-breakers.
• A proven 0-to-1 track record You have a portfolio of shipped products you took from concept to launch in a fast-paced, resource-constrained startup environment (Series A-C preferred).
• A passion for creating order from chaos You thrive in ambiguity and excel at building clear, efficient processes from scratch.

Location

This role will be located in NYC along with the rest of the technical Hearth team, the CEO, and other key roles in the business.
