Your Role: SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER

Data is central to how we deliver an exceptional experience for our audiences and our clients, and to how we build and extend our competitive advantage across our core channels, including Outdoor and Radio.

Global is entering an exciting phase of growth, with two key strategic priorities. The first is expanding our international presence, enabling us to scale our products, insights, and commercial capabilities across new and existing markets. The second is transforming how clients engage with our advertising offering through the launch and scaling of a major self-service product, empowering customers to independently plan, book, and manage campaigns across Outdoor and Radio.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will report directly to the Head of Product (Data) and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our product strategy across both international expansion and self-service capabilities. You will be at the forefront of driving innovation within each of these areas, enabling scalable solutions, improving customer experience, and supporting the business in unlocking new revenue opportunities.

As a Senior Product Manager at Global, you will:

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Vision (35%): Working closely with the Head of Product, Data, develop and articulate a strategic vision for the squads, aligning it with business objectives and ensuring it supports the organisation's growth and innovation

  • Product development and delivery (35%): Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle for the areas owned, from ideation to execution. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, prioritise features, and deliver high-quality data solutions.

  • Stakeholder Management (30%): Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including data engineers, data scientists and analysts. Communicate effectively to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure alignment between business goals and technical solutions.

What Success Looks Like

In your first few months, you’ll have:

  • Set a successful vision for the squads you’re leading along with the Head of Product (Data) creating a clear alignment and business buy-in for the short and medium-term strategic vision.

  • Managed clear quarterly planning, setting out what can be achieved from within both squads and how that ladders up to the business strategy.

  • Created a clear roadmap for delivery both for the quarter ahead and with a longer-term vision.

  • Exceptional stakeholder management, aligning with all relevant areas of the business, understanding dependencies and weighing up priorities with agreement from all impacted parties.

What You’ll Need

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on data platforms, analytics, or related areas.

  • Technical Proficiency Strong technical understanding of data platforms, databases, and data processing technologies but also able to build the bridge between engineers and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Communication Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

  • Strategic Thinking Ability to think strategically and contribute to the overall business strategy. Experience developing and executing product roadmaps aligned with organisational goals.

  • Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate adaptability to evolving priorities and challenges.
