The Senior Product Manager will support the planning and execution of Green Dot’s partner payments products and services. This role will contribute to the buildout of features and enhancements to a partner platform by helping define, prioritize, and deliver partner and market requirements for API‑based integrations.
The Senior Product Manager will work cross-functionally with Business, Engineering, Risk, Legal/Compliance, Operations, and external partners to deliver high‑quality product capabilities, ensure regulatory alignment, and support successful partner outcomes. This role focuses on execution excellence, lifecycle management, and continuous improvement across payments and money movement products.
Key Responsibilities
Support the design, development, and launch of partner products and services from product definition through production release and ongoing support.
Own and execute defined areas of the product roadmap, including product enhancements, upgrades, and maintenance of existing capabilities.
Partner closely with Engineering, QA, and Operations teams to deliver product initiatives on time and within defined scope.
Assist in gathering, analyzing, and documenting product and partner requirements for API‑based services and integrations.
Support ongoing service delivery by tracking progress, identifying risks, and escalating issues as needed to ensure successful outcomes.
Triage and manage product defects, ensuring proper prioritization, ownership, and resolution in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
Collaborate with Business, Risk, Legal/Compliance, and Operations teams to ensure product features and workflows align with regulatory and governance requirements.
Help define customer journeys, user experience considerations, and success metrics for partner-facing products.
Ensure alignment with IT governance standards using approved tools, templates, and processes.
Perform other duties as needed in support of product and business objectives.
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience in product management within payments, fintech, or banking technology environments.
Hands-on experience with payments and money movement, including:
ACH processing (RDFI and/or ODFI) and understanding of NACHA file formats.
Experience supporting instant or real-time payment solutions (e.g., OCT, AFT, eCommerce payments).
Experience working with API‑based B2B products or services.
Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and non‑technical teams.
Ability to influence without direct authority and operate effectively in a cross‑functional environment.
Working knowledge of Jira or similar product development and tracking tools.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Hands-on experience with payments and money movement, including:
ACH processing (RDFI and/or ODFI) and understanding of NACHA file formats.
Experience supporting instant or real-time payment solutions (e.g., OCT, AFT, eCommerce payments).
Additional payments experience such as:
Mastercard Send, Visa Direct, or other card‑based payout solutions.
RTP or FedNow implementations or support.
Familiarity with payment processors and messaging standards such as ISO 20022.
Prior experience working on partner platforms or embedded finance products.
Working knowledge of consumer or B2B FinTech products and services.
Ability to work in Pacific, Mountain, or Central time zones.

PAY RANGE
The targeted base salary for this position is $104,900 to $157,300 per year. The final compensation will be determined by a number of factors such as qualifications, expertise, and the candidate’s geographical location.
