We are seeking a resourceful and curious Senior Product Manager to lead our work in our Wealth Management portfolio. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the roadmap and delivery of AI and data solutions for Wealth Management. You will work at the intersection of AI and financial services, leveraging innovative technologies to create user-centric products. You’ll work with both business partners and technical teams to discover and align on the optimal solution to business problems, and ensure our technical teams are laser-focused on value.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Strategic Leadership:

    • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for wealth management AI products, aligned with Borealis and RBC's broader objectives;

    • Identify market opportunities and define the product roadmap, focusing on innovative solutions that leverage AI technologies to solve real-world problems;

    • Set ambitious objectives and key results (OKRs) to measure product success and drive continuous improvement;

  • Product Development:

    • Lead the end-to-end product development process, from ideation to launch, ensuring timely and successful delivery of high-quality products;

    • Work closely with AI researchers, data scientists, and engineers to translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly products;

    • Implement agile methodologies to ensure flexibility, rapid iteration, and responsiveness to feedback;

  • Stakeholder Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across Borealis and RBC, fostering collaboration and alignment towards a shared vision;

    • Influence and inspire cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, legal, and compliance, to ensure seamless product execution;

    • Communicate product vision, strategy, and progress effectively to senior leadership and other stakeholders, ensuring transparency and buy-in;

  • Innovation and Entrepreneurship:

    • Foster a culture of innovation within the product team, encouraging creative thinking and the exploration of new ideas;

    • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities to integrate AI advancements into your strategy;

    • Champion a test-and-learn approach, promoting experimentation and the use of data to drive decision-making.

You're our ideal candidate if you:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s or MBA is a plus;

  • 5-7 years of product management experience in a top-tier technology company, with a focus on AI or machine learning products;

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager, with a track record of successfully shipping products in an enterprise environment with agile methodologies that drive business impact and customer satisfaction;

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect and influence multiple groups towards a shared vision;

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and driving alignment;

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and a proactive approach to problem-solving;

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions;

  • Deep customer empathy and a user-centric approach to product development;

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;

  • Strong technical background with the ability to understand and discuss architectural concepts, trade-offs, and new opportunities with technical team members;

  • Experience in the financial services industry is a plus.
