About the Role

ADP is seeking a Product Manager to help us drive excellence and prioritize the customer experience with our product lines, which include Evaporator Coils, Air Handlers, and Unit Heaters.

The Product Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support, to ensure our product offerings meet market demands and drive customer satisfaction. We are looking for a strong contributor to drive product development initiatives, analyze market trends, and champion product enhancements to maintain a competitive edge in the industry.

What You’ll Do

Product Strategy and Planning:

  • Support the development and execution of a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap aligned with our company objectives.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback analysis to identify product opportunities and drive innovation, revenue and margin expansion.
  • Help define product requirements, features, and functionality based on market needs and collaborate with engineering teams for product development.

Product Management and Development:

  • Support product development lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring on-time delivery, quality, and cost-effective solutions.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to prioritize development of new features and products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling product documentation, including specifications, user manuals, and training materials.

Commercialization Strategy and Support:

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop effective product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Support sales teams by providing technical expertise, training, and product knowledge to drive successful product adoption and revenue growth.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and customer training sessions to showcase product capabilities and benefits.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback, market trends, and sales data to make data-driven decisions for product enhancements and improvements.

Industry Expertise and Market Awareness:

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and regulations in the commercial HVAC industry.
  • Identify trends and communicate product line insights while developing action plans to drive business objectives.
  • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to build relationships, identify partnership opportunities, and stay ahead of competitors.

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience. Requires at least 3+ years related experience in Product Management or HVAC industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and commercializing successful product strategies.
  • Proven track record of successful cross functional NPI project management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Travel requirement: ~25% on average, up to 50% during peak seasons.

What We Offer

Compensation This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $93,600 - $122,850 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.

Benefits Subject to applicable eligibility requirements, the following benefits are offered for this role: tuition reimbursement; medical, dental, and vision insurance; prescription drug coverage; 401(k) retirement plan; short-term disability insurance; 8 weeks paid birthing leave; 2 weeks paid bonding leave; life and long-term disability insurance.

Depending on date of hire, and subject to applicable eligibility requirements, new employees in this role also receive up to: 12 days paid time off, 2 paid well-being days, 1 paid volunteer day, 12 paid holidays, and 3 floating holidays per year.
