Job Description

  1. Responsible for feasibility and requirements throughout the product lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and client (employer group, agent, consultant) requirements, refining the product vision, assessing feasibility, identifying technical and operational roadblocks, providing solutions for implementation and troubleshooting.
  2. Serve as liaison between various HMSA and external business, operational and IT departments to ensure alignment between technical and non-technical teams.
  3. Responsible for managing and implementing business rules, product guardrails and complex product and benefit builds in the product and benefits management system. Manages workflow and controls for development, review and promoting to production within the system.
  4. Primary resource for future and ongoing product and benefit integration and mapping activities with the product and benefits system and other systems.
  5. Promptly respond to incidents and other events as necessary
  6. Perform all other miscellaneous responsibilities and duties as assigned or directed.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree and five years of related work experience; or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  2. Three years in a lead role
  3. Intermediate working knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Job Summary

Pay Range: $68,000 - $133,000

Note: Individuals typically begin between the minimum to middle of the pay range

The Senior Product Liaison is responsible for driving product innovation, cross-department collaboration, integration, operationalization, and sales/growth in Hawaii. The Product Liaison will coordinate closely with internal and external partners for feasibility assessments, business requirements and operational readiness. Additionally, the Product Liaison is responsible for managing the product and benefits management system and is the primary resource for future and ongoing product/benefit integration with the product and benefits management system.
