BnBerry builds infrastructure that connects hotels and resorts to global short term rental marketplaces.

We're now building AI-first systems that automate distribution, pricing, operations, and guest communication for hospitality businesses worldwide.

The Role

This is a product engineering role with high ownership.

You'll work directly with Product leadership to turn ideas into working systems. Your job is to find the best path from problem to production.

That might mean building from scratch. Or it might mean leveraging AI tools, integrations, automation, or low-code solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Own problems end‑to‑end: from understanding the need to shipping the solution.
• Design pragmatic architecture before jumping into implementation.
• Use AI tools aggressively to accelerate development and iteration, while reviewing and correcting AI‑generated code.
• Make smart build‑vs‑integrate decisions under time pressure.
• Ensure code is safe, maintainable, and performant (including SQL queries and critical paths).

This role is about outcomes, not tickets.

Who This Is For

You're an AI‑native engineer.
You're comfortable navigating ambiguity, designing systems, and shipping quickly. You probably:

• Use AI as a core part of how you build software – not as an add‑on.
• Prototype fast, iterate faster.
• Think in systems and tradeoffs, not just tasks.
• Care about architecture even when moving at speed.
• Prefer building products over writing isolated features.
• Can spot where AI‑generated code breaks, underperforms, or is unsafe – and know how to fix it.

You understand that speed and quality aren't in conflict – they're a skill.

What This Role Is Not

This is not a ticket-processing job.

We're not looking for someone who waits for detailed specs and then implements them. We're looking for someone who helps define and build the solution.

Requirements

You’re still a strong engineer underneath the AI tooling.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has solid, hands‑on experience with:
• Modern web architectures.
• APIs, integrations, webhooks.
• Distributed systems or high‑load applications.
• Production software — not just prototypes.
• Has practical experience with:
• React (or similar modern frontend framework).
• Laravel/PHP in production backends.
• MySQL (or similar relational databases), including understanding of query performance and optimization.
• Can reason about:
• Code safety and maintainability.
• Performance characteristics of the systems they design, especially database‑heavy parts.

Languages and frameworks matter less than your ability to design, debug, and ship — but you should be able to read and improve React, Laravel, and MySQL code without relying solely on AI.

One More Thing

We care more about what you've built than what's on your resume.

Show us systems, tools, or products you created, especially anything built with AI-accelerated workflows. A demo, a write-up – whatever tells the story best.
