Job Description

We are seeking a Senior NPI Product Engineer to lead the technical execution of new products from characterization through stable production ramp. This role is ideal for engineers who thrive in ambiguity, enjoy deep technical problem-solving, and want real ownership over product quality, yield, and time-to-market. ResponsibilitiesEnd-to-End NPI engagement
  • Serve as technical lead for NPI products, owning key technical decisions and trade-offs during development and ramp.
  • Drive NPI milestones with strong sense of urgency to meet schedule, quality and yield targets.
  • Drive cross-functional team alignment and technical decision-making during critical NPI phases.
Advanced Data Analytics & Insights
  • Analyze NPI data to ensure test stability, yield consistency and product quality.
  • Translate data into clear, actionable insights for engineering and leadership reviews.
  • Perform structured data analysis and root cause investigations on yield loss and test anomalies.
Production & Final Test Readiness
  • Own NPI bring-up, including temperature and voltage characterization, and product validation.
  • Perform bench testing and ATE correlation to ensure test robustness and accurate test coverage.
  • Define production readiness criteria, control plans, and ramp guardrails for stable transition into mass manufacturing.
  • Ensure test yield entitlement is achieved before release to the sustaining team.
  • Ensure test program maturity, robust and practical test limit setting and long term test stability.
Quality & Structural Improvement
  • Drive permanent, structural fixes and validate effectiveness using data.
  • Promote a strong quality mindset in test limit setting and NPI lot disposition.
  • Strengthen revision control, qualification strategies and change management to prevent quality escapes.

Product Transfer and Production Support
  • Ensure complete and accurate documentation and archival of NPI deliverables.
  • Proper handover and communication to sustaining engineering team.
  • Provide guidance and escalation support during mass production as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in Product Engineering or Test Engineering or Yield Engineering, or NPI.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Bench, ATE platforms and data analytics.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-site problem-solving through technical influence.
  • Comfortable making decisions under uncertainty during NPI and ramp phases.
