What you will do:

• Support the Senior Product Developer in designing and launching advanced energy products (e.g., flexibility, aggregation, BESS, BRP).

• Analyze energy markets, customer needs, and regulatory frameworks to identify new product opportunities.

• Contribute to business model development, including revenue streams, cost structures, and profitability analysis.

• Monitor and interpret regulatory changes in Spain and Portugal, assessing their impact on products and opportunities.

• Propose regulatory responses and prepare regulatory filings to address market impacts.

• Assist in building business cases and financial models for new initiatives.

• Collaborate with internal teams (Trading, Sales, Operations, IT) to ensure product feasibility and implementation.

• Support product lifecycle management, including improvements to existing solutions.

• Prepare documentation, presentations, and materials for commercial teams.

• Bring fresh ideas and proactively contribute to innovation within the energy product portfolio.

• Develop business opportunities from a more theoretical perspective, understanding regulatory impacts and proposing regulatory adjustments.

What you bring & who you are:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Energy, or a related technical field.

• Experience: >3 years in the energy sector or related fields (internships included).

• Skills & Knowledge:

  • Basic understanding of energy markets (electricity and/or gas).

  • Familiarity with concepts like demand response, aggregation, BESS, or energy optimization.

  • Ability to build business cases and financial models (proficiency in Excel or similar tools).

  • Knowledge of energy regulation in Spain and/or Portugal is a plus.

  • Ability to understand regulatory impacts and propose regulatory filings or adjustments.

• Personal Traits:

  • High motivation, curiosity, and a proactive mindset.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Adaptability to a fast-changing environment and resilience in the face of challenges.

• Languages: Spanish and English are mandatory; Portuguese is a plus.
