We are now looking for a Senior Product Developer to join our Wound Care R&D organization in Gothenburg and to advance innovation from prevention to treatment in hard-to-heal wounds.

This is a broad and hands-on development role where you will combine technical expertise, customer understanding and cross-functional collaboration to drive meaningful innovation within wound care.

Why this role matters

You’ll play a key role in developing and improving solutions across the wound care continuum, leveraging user insights, established platforms, and strategic focus to deliver next‑generation sustainable solutions.

In this role, you will:

• Lead and drive product development activities across strategic projects
• Translate customer and clinical insights into product solutions
• Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders across R&D, regulatory, quality, and marketing
• Support design control, development documentation, and product launches
• Drive structured problem solving and continuous improvement initiatives
• Explore and contribute to intellectual property and patent-related activities where relevant
• Contribute both strategically and hands-on throughout the development lifecycle

This role requires someone who enjoys both driving projects and staying close to the technical work itself.

What you bring

We’re looking for a collaborative and hands-on product developer with strong technical and project leadership capabilities.

• Degree in engineering, chemistry, life sciences, or similar
• Extensive experience (5+ years) within product development and medical devices
• Strong project management and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working with design control and regulated development environments
• Ability to drive projects from concept through launch
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Fluent English

Experience within wound care or healthcare solutions is a plus.
