THE ROLE AND THE TEAM

The ZEOS Logistics department is responsible for all partner-facing multichannel Zalando Logistics Solutions. By unifying and collaborating these services under a single umbrella, we provide a more holistic approach to deliver the optimal fulfillment solution to meet our partners' needs and leverage common services to enable partner program growth.

As a Senior Product Designer at ZEOS, you will be responsible for customer-facing digital experiences for our ZEOS Logistics service offerings. Your joint mission is to empower fashion and lifestyle brands to expand their business and increase their profitability across multiple marketplaces and countries throughout Europe through ZEOS

Using your excellent craft skills and seasoned experience, you will design 0 to 1 experiences that empower brands and retailers to steer their multi-channel logistics for their business from our ZEOS digital touchpoints. This is an important role that will help shape the vision for the user experiences for ZEOS, and requires strong foundational UX skills, exceptional stakeholder management, experience in workshop facilitation, and in crafting and evangelising design strategies and visions.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

  • You'll work with cross-functional teams to deliver against the design vision and strategy for our B2B multichannel offering in ZEOS, delivering coherent experiences for our merchants and their end customers. You'll champion the CX vision with your team and stakeholders, and partner with them on how to make it real, scoped across sprints and quarters.

  • You'll lead stakeholders and team members towards innovative solutions through design thinking workshops and design sprints.

  • You'll generate multiple solutions to complex design challenges, evaluate which to pursue further, and leverage technology to improve experiences, ensuring your designs are technically feasible, scalable, accessible and compliant.

  • You'll apply strategic thinking to visualise and communicate ideas compellingly for senior business stakeholders, partners and customers. You'll contribute to problem definition through storyboards, press releases, and holistic customer journeys that product managers and other designers draw from.

  • You will jointly plan and participate in research together with researchers and product managers, shaping quantitative and qualitative data to support two key areas: assessing new problem spaces and evaluating design solutions as a core part of the iterative validation process.

  • You'll validate and refine concepts with internal and external stakeholders, including actual merchants and end users.

  • You'll lead by example, role-modelling user-centred design practices and producing high-quality work regardless of the size of the task.

  • You'll mentor fellow designers and contribute to team design ops initiatives that improve team health and ways of working.

WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF

  • Experience: You are a seasoned design professional with B2B experience who has led the design of complex projects that delivered valuable end-to-end experiences to real users. You are driven to solve meaningful problems and skilled at translating user needs and business goals into coherent design outcomes that product teams can understand and execute on.

  • Collaboration: You work collaboratively with product managers, engineers, stakeholders and users to understand and define the key problems and desired experiences for solutions in a B2B context, owning the design thread from discovery through delivery.

  • Curiosity: You are curious about the industry, the merchants you serve, and the needs of their end customers, which allows you to creatively and empathetically solve their problems.

  • Craft: You have a deep understanding of the end-to-end iterative design process including how to develop and apply research, design thinking, user stories, journey mapping, wire-framing, prototyping, user testing, and high-fidelity visuals to achieve human-centered design solutions across holistic customer journeys. Proficiency with current industry design and collaboration tools including Figma is a must. Experience working with prompting tools (e.g. Loveable, Claude , etc) as part of the design process is plus.

  • Complexity: You have worked on ambiguous strategic projects, are able to create clarity amid uncertainty, and can guide team members through such projects.

  • Experimentation: You have a generative approach and strive to solve problems in the best way possible through iteration, leveraging data and insights to drive future iterations and features.

  • Delivery: You scope and define deliverables and ensure developers have everything they need to build the designed solution. You ensure a remarkable quality of what goes live.

  • Empathy: You have the mindset and methodologies to understand your customers, their end users, colleagues and employees.

  • Storytelling: You bring not just users but also stakeholders and employees on a journey, enabling them to truly understand the end customer and vision and experience you are setting out to deliver, and the why behind your design decisions.
