We’re looking for a Senior Mobile Product Designer with exceptional visual and UI skills to lead the design of Artlist’s native mobile experience. As Artlist enters a new era of AI-powered creativity, you will shape how millions of creators interact with our tools on the go — designing app interfaces that are not only intuitive but beautiful, expressive, and unmistakably Artlist.

You are a mobile-first thinker who understands the nuances of iOS and Android patterns, lives for smooth transitions, and knows how to translate complex creative workflows into a thumb-friendly, cinematic mobile experience.

What You’ll Do

• Lead end-to-end mobile design: Own the product design lifecycle for Artlist’s native apps — from mobile-specific user flows and wireframes to refined, high-fidelity UI and micro-interactions.
• Craft premium mobile interfaces: Deliver polished, visually compelling screens with a mastery of typography, layout, and hierarchy, tailored for various mobile screen sizes and densities.
• Design for AI on Mobile: Create intuitive, AI-powered mobile experiences, making advanced creative capabilities accessible and inspiring through touch-based interactions.
• Master Motion & Interaction: Design seamless transitions and motion cues that enhance the mobile UX, ensuring every gesture feels fluid and premium.
• Advance our Mobile Design System: Contribute to and extend Artlist’s design system with a focus on native mobile components, tokens, and scalable patterns for iOS and Android.
• Cross-functional partnership: Collaborate closely with Mobile Engineers, Product Managers, and Brand designers to ensure technical feasibility and a cohesive experience across platforms.
• Iterate with Data & Prototyping: Use high-fidelity mobile prototypes (Figma/Protopie) and user research to validate designs and improve usability on real devices.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience designing digital products, with at least 3+ years focused specifically on Native Mobile Apps (iOS/Android).
• Exceptional UI & Visual Strength: A portfolio showcasing high-end, cinematic mobile interfaces, with a deep understanding of mobile typography, grids, and composition.
• Native Platform Mastery: Extensive knowledge of HIG (iOS) and Material Design (Android) guidelines, and the ability to know when to follow them or push their boundaries.
• Mobile Interaction Design: Deep experience with mobile-specific UX patterns (gestures, haptics, navigation models) and building complex, responsive component libraries.
• AI & Innovation: The ability to turn abstract AI-driven ideas into human-centered, mobile-first interfaces.
• Technical Fluency: Understanding of mobile development constraints (screen ratios, accessibility, offline states) and experience working with mobile dev teams.
• Communication & Collaboration: A strong communicator who can articulate design decisions and thrive in a fast-paced, exploratory environment.
• Passion for Creativity: A love for visual storytelling and an excitement for shaping the future of creator tools through mobile and AI.
