As a Senior Product Designer at Skylum, you will play a key role in shaping the user experience and interface of Luminar Neo. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to improve product structure, ensure consistency, and design scalable solutions for a complex product.

This role is focused on bringing structure, clarity, and quality to an evolving product, while maintaining a high development pace.


Requirements

  • Ukrainian language is a must.
  • 4+ years of experience in product design with a strong focus on UX and UI.
  • Hands-on experience with UX validation methods (user interviews, usability testing, product analytics) and ability to apply them in real product work.
  • Experience working on complex products with multiple features and user scenarios.
  • Strong understanding of information architecture, navigation, and product structure.
  • Ability to connect and align different parts of the product into a consistent user experience.
  • Ability to improve product consistency and quality through structured design decisions.
  • Strong proficiency with Figma (components, prototyping, structured files).
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • A more or less structured portfolio showcasing end-to-end product design work and design reasoning.

Responsibilities

  • Product Design: Design user experiences for Luminar Neo across multiple product areas and features.
  • Information Architecture: Define and improve navigation, structure, and feature organization.
  • UX Foundations: Establish and evolve interaction patterns and design principles across the product.
  • Quality: Ensure consistency, hierarchy, and attention to detail across all product areas.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and designers to align on goals, scope, and trade-offs.
  • Prototyping: Create prototypes to explore, validate, and communicate design solutions.
  • Validation: Use user testing, interviews, and analytics to validate decisions and iterate on solutions.
  • Ownership: Take responsibility for design decisions and drive them to implementation-ready state.


Will be a plus

  • Being a photographer or hobbyist photographer, with practical experience using photo editing tools.
  • Experience designing creative tools or complex product interfaces.
  • Experience working with design systems and scalable UI patterns.
  • Experience working with AI tools in design workflows (prototyping, automation, design systems support).
