Growth is where Upgrade turns its mission into new customer relationships, and we're looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our amazing team of designers, product managers, marketers, and engineers. Reporting to the VP of Design, you will work on Upgrade’s newest products, including Boost Money™, BoostCash™, our mobile banking products, as well as new AI initiatives. This is high-impact work, where thoughtful design directly helps customers move in the right direction with their money.
As a Senior Product Designer, you'll play a central role in how customers discover us, sign up, and come back, from a first BoostCash™ advance to a switched direct deposit and that first cash-back reward. You'll work on projects like onboarding and eligibility, offer presentation, subscription conversion, direct deposit switching, and the end-to-end experience of an AI agent that takes care of the tedious work for the customer. As a team, we’ll measure ourselves by activation, conversion, and retention, and earn those numbers by continuously improving the experience on the customer's behalf. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on ownership, moves fast, and wants to see their work make a positive impact on our customers' finances.
Please note that this role is based in San Francisco and you'll be coming into the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays as well as for company events. We will not convert this role to remote in the future.
