Job Description

Ticketek Entertainment Group (TEG) is a Live Experience Group that helps people discover, access and experience the unforgettable. We believe Life is better live®.

With over 50 years in live entertainment, we sell more than 30 million tickets annually, connect with 30 million fans across Australia and New Zealand, and bring 18,000+ events to life each year. Headquartered in Sydney, we operate globally across eight pillars: Ticketing, Live Touring, Sport, Immersive Experiences, Customer & Data Solutions, Venues, VIP Experiences and Partnerships. Through our integrated operating model, we bring the best live content, ticketing and technology to our partners and create unforgettable memories that last a lifetime

Our values guide everything we do: we partner with purpose, empower boldness within clear boundaries, and celebrate human connection – always putting the fan first.

The Role

As a Senior Product Designer in Ticketek’s Product team, you’ll help reimagine how fans discover, book and engage with live entertainment. You’ll bring deep UX/UI and product-design expertise to two portfolios; Event Management & Core Ticketing, and Commerce & Experience — working in cross-functional squads across web, app and marketing to design intuitive, accessible and commercially effective experiences.

Requirements

Outcomes to Deliver

In this role, success looks like:

  • Lead end-to-end UX and product design, from discovery through wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity design that solves real problems and aligns with commercial goals.
  • Partner with Product Managers, Engineers and cross-functional squads to deliver joined-up fan experiences, while briefing and reviewing the work of our external UX agency partners.
  • Build and govern our design system to keep design consistent, scalable and reusable.
  • Balance commercial outcomes (conversion, revenue uplift, digital adoption) with fan outcomes (ease, satisfaction, delight) to grow engagement and lifetime value.

Capabilities to Bring

  • 7+ years’ experience in UX/Product Design roles, with proven end-to-end design expertise.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality product design work across web and mobile.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, agile, cross-functional environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar design tools.
  • Deep familiarity with Design System and component library development, including accessibility compliance.
  • Experience guiding or quality-assuring agency deliverables preferred.
  • Strong understanding of digital commerce and customer experience in consumer-facing organisations

Desirable additional experience:

  • Previous delivery of service blueprints, customer journey maps or other similar CX process artefacts
  • Experience with retail, entertainment, or ticketing verticals.
  • Awareness of compliance standards (WCAG, GDPR, CCPA, Australian Privacy Act)

Benefits

We’re Australasia’s home of live entertainment – from stadium tours to your local comedy show – and we look after the people who make it happen.

  • Front row perks: Front row and backstage access to live moments – free and discounted tickets to shows, sport and festivals across our network, plus presales and staff allocations for major on-sales
  • A global stage: Headquartered in Sydney with offices across seven countries and four continents, working alongside some of the biggest names in Australian and international live entertainment
  • Flexibility: Hybrid and flexible working, with flexible hours where your role allows
  • Parental leave for everyone Paid leave for primary caregivers regardless of gender, with real support returning to work
  • Leave, your way: Annual leave plus extras like birthday leave and purchase leave
  • Your backstage crew: Confidential support via our Employee Assistance Program (EAP), including career coaching for you and your family, plus free flu vaccinations
  • Giving back: One paid volunteer day a year to support our community
  • Your next act: Structured development programs like Ticketek Academy, secondments to major events, and career paths tailored to your interests and skills
  • Recognition that means something: ALL STAR Awards and service milestones, celebrating the people and teams who bring our values to life every day
