Developer Tools, the team that powers the App Store, is seeking a Product Designer to help shape experiences for App Store Connect, TestFlight and App Analytics. This suite of products is the platform that allows App developers to manage, modify, analyze, monetize, and publish content to the App Store.

This designer will create experiences for responsive web and Apple’s native platforms (iOS, macOS, tvOS, and visionOS).

Description

We are looking for an outstanding senior designer who is passionate about product design and wants to help shape the future for app developers. The designer will be responsible for researching and designing new user experiences based on product requirements, new App Store features, and changes impacting our platforms. Deliverables include high-fidelity comps, prototypes, and documentation required for pixel-perfect hand-off between design and engineering. The role will work alongside product, engineers, and cross-functional teams to craft best in-class experiences for our developers.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record solving complex problems across multiple platforms. The candidate has an eye for pixel-perfect detail and possesses a strong blend of user-centered design principles, interaction and visual design skills. The applicant must have an affinity for consistency, color use, typography, and a keen eye for subtle details. Prior experience working within and contributing to a design system is a plus.

The candidate must thrive through iteration, feedback and be a natural collaborator with excellent communication skills. The candidate should be self-motivated, proactive, able to work independently or part of a small team, and perform complex tasks under minimal supervision.
