We believe everything has value. Klaravik runs digital auctions for used B2B goods in Sweden, as part of the TBAuctions group, connecting sellers who no longer need equipment with buyers who do. Designing for auctions works differently from e-commerce: every item is unique, listings are time-bound, and both sellers and bidders depend on getting it right in a narrow window.
That complexity is exactly why we’re hiring a Senior Product Designer to join us, working primarily on the internal systems and tools that keep our auctions running. As they're such a central part of our business, you'll also align with teams elsewhere in the group as the work calls for it. What matters most is how you work: thinking holistically, acting proactively, staying open to feedback, and taking ownership from start to finish, while contributing to our growing design team.
You'd be based with us in Lund, and your work reaches across the TBAuctions group. Day to day you'd work closely with colleagues in the Benelux region, and on tools used across brands like Troostwijk, Vavato and Surplex.
Own the harder design problems end to end. You take complex work from research to implementation, and you're the person colleagues lean on when a project gets complicated.
Hold the holistic experience in mind. Working across the teams building our internal tools, you keep the experience consistent and can spot where work overlaps or even breaks a journey elsewhere.
Build for scale. You grow our design system with intention, defining patterns and components that hold up across products rather than solving the same problem twice.
Align stakeholders and set expectations early within the Product & Tech organisation. You communicate clearly about scope and trade-offs, and what it takes to deliver.
Advocate for users and keep their goals in focus. You back your position with data and insights about user behaviour and needs.
Contribute to the Design & Experience team by giving and taking feedback openly. You listen before jumping to solutions, and proactively suggest how we can improve our tools, rituals, and ways of working.
A portfolio showing end-to-end ownership of complex problems. Work you took from research and framing through to shipped design, across more than one team or product area, with your reasoning visible.
Experience with complex internal or operational tools, where flows matter more than surface.
Evidence of holistic thinking. You can walk us through how a project fitted into a larger flow, what you changed or took into consideration, and what the results were.
Strong communication. You can explain your decisions clearly to non-designers and be direct about scope and trade-offs.
Comfort with feedback in both directions. You're able to deliver well-formulated critique and can point to your own work that got better because of someone else's input.
Practical use of research and data. You use insight to make and defend decisions, to keep the experience attached to user needs and goals.
Professional working proficiency in English.
Marketplace, e-commerce, or auction domain knowledge.
Design system experience, especially using AI to speed up or scale how components and patterns are built and maintained.
A feel for content, such as UX writing, or working with texts and translation keys across languages.
Experience mentoring or coaching other designers, formally or informally.
One of our core languages (Swedish, German, or Dutch) alongside English.
Within the first year, you'll have helped us make real progress on a new product we're building, through releases that hold together as complete flows rather than isolated features. That work is documented and built properly into our design system, so what we solve once can be reused. We measure progress by whether people can actually get their work done, not by how much we shipped.
You'd be based from our modern office in central Lund, right by the train station. The whole design team meets up about once a week for reviews and critique; the rest is flexible, with remote options so you can balance work with whatever else life involves. We offer six weeks of vacation, a wellness contribution, a pension solution, and health insurance.
Apply with your CV and a portfolio. The portfolio matters most to us: we want to see the thinking behind the work, the problem you were solving, and what you personally contributed, especially on projects where you worked with others.
We're excited to find the right person and we'll begin interviewing straight away rather than waiting for a closing date. If this looks like your role, apply early.
At TBAuctions we believe everything has value, and that includes people. We're an equal opportunity employer and welcome applicants regardless of age, gender identity, ethnicity, religion, disability, sexual orientation, or background. We know great designers reach this point by many different routes, so if you don't tick every box, we'd still like to hear from you. If you need any adjustments during the process, tell us and we'll arrange them.
