About Krank & Inspeq

Krank is building scalable SaaS products for operationally intensive industries. Inspeq is our inspection and compliance platform used by teams to create inspections, manage assets, generate reports, and integrate workflows with marketplaces and external systems.

We are looking for a Senior Product Designer who can own end-to-end product design, work closely with Product and Engineering, and raise the overall design maturity of Inspeq.

As a Senior Product Designer, you will lead the design of complex workflows across web and mobile, balancing usability, scalability, and business goals. You will play a key role in shaping how inspections, listings, assets, and reports are created, managed, and experienced by users.

This role goes beyond visuals—you will influence product strategy, simplify complex flows, and ensure consistency across the platform. Own design decisions for assigned product areas and be accountable for UX outcomes, balancing user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.

Key Responsibilities

Product & UX

· Define and validate design solutions against product KPIs such as adoption, completion rates, error reduction, and time-on-task.

· Design within real-world constraints including legacy systems, phased rollouts, and incremental delivery.

· Own end-to-end design for core Inspeq workflows.

· Translate product requirements and business goals into clear user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs.

· Simplify complex, data-heavy experiences into intuitive and efficient UX.

· Design for scalability (multi-org, roles, permissions, enterprise use cases).

· Continuously improve usability through iteration and feedback.

Collaboration

· Lead design trade-offs and clearly communicate rationale to stakeholders using data, research, and structured thinking.

· Work closely with Product Managers to define problem statements and success metrics.

· Partner with Engineering to ensure designs are feasible, well-implemented, and production ready.

· Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and design critiques.

· Act as a design partner rather than a handoff-only designer.

Design Systems & Quality

· Maintain and evolve Inspeq’s design system (components, patterns, states).

· Ensure visual and interaction consistency across web and mobile.

· Define UX standards for forms, tables, empty states, errors, and edge cases.

· Review implemented designs and ensure high quality before release.

· Mentor junior designers or cross-functional team members and contribute to raising overall design quality and maturity.

Research & Validation

· Conduct lightweight user research (interviews, usability testing, feedback loops).

· Review shipped features and iterate based on user feedback, analytics, and support insights.

· Use insights to validate assumptions and improve designs.

· Advocate for the user while balancing technical and business constraints.

Required Skills & Experience

· 5–8 years of experience designing B2B SaaS products.

· Strong portfolio demonstrating complex workflows, not just marketing pages.

· Expertise in Figma (auto-layout, components, variants).

· Solid understanding of UX principles, accessibility, and responsive design.

· Ability to think in systems, not just screens.

· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have

· Experience with inspection, CMMS, marketplace, or enterprise workflow tools.

· Exposure to mobile-first or hybrid app design.

· Familiarity with analytics-driven design decisions.

· Experience working in fast-moving startups or scale-ups.

What Success Looks Like

· Inspeq workflows feel simpler, faster, and more intuitive despite their complexity.

· Design handoffs are clear, consistent, and rarely require rework.

· The design system reduces friction and speeds up product delivery.

· Product, engineering, and leadership trust design decisions.
