Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, Physics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
  • 8 years of work experience using analytics to solve product or business problems, performing statistical analysis, and coding (e.g., Python, R, SQL) (or 5 years work experience with a Master's degree).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, Physics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
  • 8 years of work experience using analytics to solve product or business problems, performing statistical analysis, and coding (e.g., Python, R, SQL).
  • Excellent problem-framing, problem-solving and team collaboration skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, especially in communicating technical and statistical concepts clearly and concisely among audiences across different levels.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $163000 - $236000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

The Discover Feed Experiences team owns the user-facing (non-ranking) elements of the Discover product including experience, growth, AI integration into feed and more.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct analysis and defining launch criteria for important launches, designing, implementing, and analyzing experiments to measure the impact of new features and product changes, ensuring we make data-driven decisions.
  • Drive exploratory analysis and user understanding, user behavior patterns, and identifying, sizing and articulating new opportunities for Discover.
  • Work with Cross-Functional Team (Product Management, Engineering, UXR, Design) on launch analysis, product iteration, and impact quantification.
