We are looking for a Senior Product Controller (f/m/x) to join our team in Oberkochen.

Your Role

  • As Finance Business Partner, you are an important sparring partner to business leaders, co-creating their strategy to shape the financial performance of their product portfolio.
  • Consulting Commercial Topics: you provide strategic guidance to your product area on key commercial questions, identify economic opportunities, optimization potential, and risks, and translate this into decision-ready recommendations and actionable plans.
  • Product Cost Controlling: you collaborate with product managers to define target costs, track adherence, and deliver cost transparency for established products and new product introductions.
  • Business Planning: you create, validate, and monitor business plans and present them convincingly to our internal management and external partners.
  • Performance Controlling & Better Insights: you create and further develop meaningful ad hoc and monthly reports to support our product management with clear analyses, comments, and impulses for business steering.
  • Process Design & Governance: in close collaboration with our operational controlling team and accounting, you ensure adherence to internal commercial governance requirements and applicable international accounting standards. You clarify open questions and drive the structured resolution of process gaps.
  • Digital Finance & Modern Steering Tools: you contribute and implement ideas to further develop Finance tools and processes, e.g. by leveraging digitalization.

Your Profil

  • You have successfully completed a degree, preferably a master’s degree or diploma with a focus on Finance/Controlling and at least 3–5 years of professional experience in Finance/Controlling, ideally gained in an international industrial corporation.
  • A proactive and collaborative professional who combines initiative, independence, strong organizational skills, teamwork, and accountability with clear, impactful communication tailored to diverse audiences to drive understanding and action.
  • You have professional working proficiency in German and English, with negotiation-level fluency in both languages.
  • Strong SAP (CO/FI) and MS Office skills, as well as proficiency with Power BI or business intelligence tools.
  • You possess good knowledge of International Accounting Standards / International Financial Reporting Standards.
  • Experience in structuring and executing cross-functional projects, preferably including experience with cost reduction projects.
  • You have an affinity for, and ideally experience with, applying modern digital technologies in the Finance & Controlling area.
