Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Associate to join our Product team, supporting the evolution of our Pix and Emerging Payment Rails within Cash Management.

This role will work closely with Product Leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative payment solutions that address client needs, regulatory requirements, and business opportunities. The ideal candidate combines strong product management experience with enough technical fluency to effectively collaborate with Engineering, without being a software developer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the evolution of the product roadmap for Pix and Emerging Payment Rails.
  • Lead product discovery activities to identify customer pain points, market opportunities, and new product enhancements.
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog in partnership with Product Leadership.
  • Translate business needs into clear and well-structured functional requirements.
  • Partner closely with Engineering throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Produce high-quality product documentation, business requirements, process flows, presentations, and Product Readiness materials.
  • Support go-to-market initiatives and internal enablement activities for Sales, Operations, and Client-facing teams.
  • Participate in discussions with clients, partners, regulators, and internal stakeholders, representing the product when appropriate.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our products by balancing customer needs, business objectives, and regulatory requirements.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Proven experience in Product Management, preferably within Financial Services.
  • Strong understanding of the complete product lifecycle, including: Product Discovery, Product Backlog Management, Prioritization, Requirements Definition, Product Delivery, Product Readiness
  • Experience working within the Financial Services industry.
  • Experience with Cash Management products.
  • Experience with one or more of the following domains:
    • Pix (strongly preferred)
    • Emerging Payment Rails
    • Open Finance
    • Digital Payments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience preparing executive presentations, product documentation, and customer-facing materials.
  • Comfortable presenting to clients, senior leadership, and large audiences.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken) is mandatory.

Technical Knowledge

This is not a software engineering role.

However, we are looking for a Product Manager who is technically fluent and comfortable working with Engineering teams.

The ideal candidate should be able to:

  • Understand how REST APIs and system integrations work.
  • Read and interpret API specifications (OpenAPI/Swagger).
  • Understand JSON payloads and API schemas.
  • Participate confidently in technical discussions with Engineering and Architecture teams.
  • Translate business requirements into clear product requirements for technical teams.

Hands-on software development experience is not required

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Direct experience with Pix products.
  • Experience working with Corporate Banking or Treasury products.
  • Knowledge of the Brazilian payments ecosystem and applicable regulations.
  • Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, or similar).
