The Department for Infrastructure and Transport plays a vital role connecting people and places in South Australia by managing roads, marine and public transport networks across the State, and builds and maintains the State-owned infrastructure that enables the delivery of essential and important government services to our community.

The Goods and Services Procurement section provides procurement advice, support, and governance to enable the effective delivery of goods and services across the department.

Seeking an experienced procurement professional to lead complex projects and change initiatives, provide strategic advice, resolve challenging issues, and build strong stakeholder relationships. The ideal candidate will demonstrate sound judgement, leadership, analytical capability, and the ability to deliver high-quality outcomes in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Education Qualifications / Licences

  • Tertiary Qualifications in a relevant discipline to facilitate commercially aware procurement services OR Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (MCIPS) is desirable.

Special Conditions

  • A National Police Check (NPC) is required prior to employment in the Department for Infrastructure and Transport which must be renewed every three years.

ASO7 - $116,089 to $125,490 pa + Superannuation
