Job Description

With over 25 years’ experience, plus the same enormous passion and ambition we had on day-one, we’re trailblazers in the pet e-commerce industry. Our solutions make over 12 million customers genuinely happier – and that’s something we really care about. We work together to continually adapt; embracing change and the challenges it brings so that we can keep doing better. Join us and discover a place where your potential meets your passion for pets. That’s the power of plus.

Join our Last Mile Team in Munich and take full ownership of your region!

As Senior Procurement Manager, you will manage a high double‑digit million‑euro spend, lead negotiations with our Delivery Service Providers (DSPs) and directly shape the delivery experience for our customers.

You'll drive strategy, optimize performance and collaborate with key functions such as Delivery Experience Management, Legal, Finance, Transportation and Supply Chain to continuously develop our setup.

Your Responsibilities

  • Own Your Cluster: Manage a defined set of DSPs and act as the subject‑matter expert.
  • Budget Leadership: Build, align and monitor budgets per market and DSP—intervening early when needed.
  • Strategic Development: Create and execute DSP‑specific strategies with clear milestones and goals.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders to define and implement standard operating procedures.
  • Sourcing & Contracts: Lead RFX processes, negotiate agreements and drive cost‑optimization initiatives.
  • Contract Management: Be the key contact for all contract topics and handle stakeholder escalations.
  • Department Growth: Contribute to strategic projects that further shape and strengthen the department.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in procurement or vendor/category management, ideally with large contract scopes.
  • Sound understanding of e‑commerce supply chains and/or Last Mile logistics
  • Strong ownership mentality and a hands‑on working style.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and a proven track record in strategic sourcing.
  • Solid understanding of contract drafting, management and change control.
  • Results‑oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Advanced analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel; willingness to learn new systems.
