Job Description

The Senior Processing Specialist is responsible for overseeing and executing motor vehicle title and registration processes while providing guidance, support, and quality oversight to the processing team. This role requires advanced knowledge of state DMV regulations, strong organizational skills, and a high level of attention to detail. In addition to daily processing responsibilities, the Senior Processing Specialist acts as a subject matter expert, assists with issue resolution, and supports workflow coordination to ensure timely and accurate completion of work.

This position is accountable for the proper titling of all new and used vehicles and ensuring compliance with state tax and title requirements. The Senior Processing Specialist may also manage designated client accounts, including processing, invoicing, customer service, and other assigned duties. Overtime may be required based on business needs.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Maintain advanced knowledge of DMV laws, regulations, and procedures related to vehicle titling and registration.
  • Ensure all title and registration work complies with applicable state and local regulations.
  • Prepare, review, and verify title and registration documentation for submission to county tax offices.
  • Perform daily processing of title and registration transactions with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
  • Serve as a point of escalation for complex title issues and customer inquiries.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to Processing Specialists as needed.
  • Assist with prioritizing workloads and monitoring daily processing volumes.
  • Resolve customer concerns and complaints in a professional, friendly, and courteous manner.
  • Support quality control efforts by reviewing work and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
  • Practice and promote teamwork, collaboration, and a positive work environment.
  • Assist Office Manager with reporting, workflow coordination, and special projects.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Strong computer experience, including Microsoft Excel (required).
  • Excellent written, verbal, and telephone communication skills.
  • Proven ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple work systems simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated reliability and dependability, including consistent attendance and schedule adherence.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse personalities.
  • Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in data entry.
  • Ability to build trust and maintain positive working relationships with internal teams and external partners.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous Title Clerk or Title Processing experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and RTS systems.
  • Experience supporting or managing client accounts.
