Job Description

Your area of work:

The Group Risk Governance & Internal Control System function of DBAG is broadening its remit to include the governance and oversight of process management across Deutsche Börse Group. In an environment shaped by evolving regulatory expectations such as the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA), our team plays a central role in ensuring that business processes are robust, well‑controlled, and resilient.

As a Senior Process Manager, you will shape and continuously refine the Group’s process management framework, strengthen its integration with the Internal Control System, and provide methodological leadership across all entities. Your work will directly support strategic transformation initiatives and contribute to the Group’s overall operational resilience.

Your responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation and continuous enhancement of the Group-wide process management framework, ensuring strong alignment with the Internal Control System (ICS) and other governance and control functions.
  • Own the governance of the central process repository in SAP GRC, including coordination of annual reviews, quality assurance activities, and collaboration with process management teams across all legal entities.
  • Design, coordinate, and perform first-line assurance activities to evaluate process quality and effectiveness, providing key insights for ICS testing, operational resilience reporting, and risk management activities.
  • Support major process-related change initiatives, from defining requirements for SAP GRC enhancements to ensuring sound process governance in new projects, outsourcing arrangements, or organizational changes.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to business units and major projects on process design, documentation standards, and optimization approaches—promoting best practices and ensuring compliance with external regulations such as DORA.
  • Build and deliver Group-wide training and support measures to establish a strong process management culture and increase process and control awareness throughout the organization.

Your profile:

  • A university degree in Business Administration, Economics, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent professional experience
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in process management, process governance, operational risk management / internal control, or a comparable role—ideally in the financial services or banking industry.
  • Solid expertise in process management methodologies (e.g., BPMN, ITIL) and a strong understanding of control frameworks such as COSO or COBIT; knowledge of DORA or other financial market regulations is a strong advantage.
  • Practical experience with GRC tools, preferably SAP GRC, for process documentation, reporting, or change management.
  • Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills that enable effective stakeholder collaboration across all levels and entities of the Group.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English; German language skills are an advantage.

You can look forward to our benefit package:
