The RoleAs a Senior Process Engineer (Hydraulic & Surge Analysis) with Worley, you will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver world-class engineering solutions for our clients while continuing to develop your technical and leadership capabilities.The successful candidate will be responsible for performing and leading hydraulic and surge studies, developing simulation models, identifying system vulnerabilities, evaluating mitigation measures, and supporting the design and operation of process, utility, and pipeline systems across energy, chemicals, and resources projects.Quality Policy, Core Values and ObjectivesBudget PlanningClient LiaisonTechnical Participation Developement
About YouTo be considered for this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience:QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering.Master's Degree is desirable.ExperienceMinimum 12-15 years of Process Engineering experience.At least 8 years within an engineering consultancy, EPCM organization, or technical services group.Minimum 5-8 years of specialized experience in Hydraulic and Surge Analysis.Experience in Oil & Gas, LNG, Refining, Petrochemical, Chemicals, Water Infrastructure, or Energy Transition projects is preferred.Technical SkillsStrong understanding of fluid flow, hydraulic systems, process engineering principles and pipeline hydraulics.Extensive experience in steady-state and transient hydraulic analysis.Proven expertise in:Water Hammer StudiesSurge AnalysisDynamic Hydraulic SimulationPipeline HydraulicsUtility Network AnalysisHands-on experience with:AFT FathomAFT ImpulsePIPENETTLNETTGNETEquivalent hydraulic simulation softwareAbility to independently:Build simulation modelsInterpret resultsDiagnose hydraulic issuesRecommend practical mitigation measuresKnowledge of applicable standards and practices including:APIASMEISOEnergy Institute StandardsShell DEPClient Engineering StandardsExperience evaluating equipment integrity under transient conditions.Excellent problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.
