About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Senior Process Engineer to join our Southbank‑based Engineering team. This role is responsible for independently leading process engineering scopes across the full project lifecycle from concept through execution and commissioning—delivering safe, fit for purpose and commercially sound outcomes.

You will act as the primary process engineering interface for clients and internal stakeholders, contributing technical leadership across brownfield and greenfield projects supporting fuel storage, pumping, transfer, loading/unloading and metering systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead assigned process engineering scopes across concept, design and execution
  • Deliver high quality outputs including P&IDs, calculations, datasheets and specifications
  • Act as the primary process engineering interface for clients and project teams
  • Perform hydraulic modelling, surge analysis and equipment sizing
  • Lead or support HAZOPs, HAZIDs and process safety activities, including close out
  • Provide technical support through FATs, commissioning and site activities
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards, MHF requirements and UGL systems

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Process or Chemical Engineering
  • 8+ years’ process engineering experience in oil & gas, fuel terminals, tank farms or petrochemical facilities
  • Strong expertise in hydraulic modelling and surge analysis
  • Proven experience delivering brownfield and greenfield projects
  • Solid understanding of process safety and MHF environments
  • Proficient in using hydraulic modelling and surge analysis software (e.g. Fluid Flow and Bentley Hammer)
  • Confident communicator able to work autonomously and engage key stakeholders
  • Chartered / RPEQ / RPEV
