The Opportunity

Due to our sustained growth, we are currently seeking a Senior Process Engineer with commissioning experience to join our Minerals Processing Brownfields team located in Adelaide or Brisbane. If you're a self-motivated, results-driven individual passionate about leading and developing a mechanical engineering team, this role is for you.

We are looking for someone with a strong background in commissioning and has the ability to develop commissioning plans and procedures, support commissioning remotely and on-site. This role will allow you to oversee the management of commissioning across the project portfolio.

Key responsibilities:

• In this role you will provide governance and technical input for execution phase works, in particular commissioning planning and commissioning execution across a variety of projects.
• You will be responsible for liaising with the client and other stakeholders to ensure the project is prepared for commissioning.
• Support internal project teams to ensure the required client standards and documentation is understood and referenced correctly in all commissioning deliverables.
• Develop and review commissioning management/strategy and test plans.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to the commissioning support team.
• Facilitate commissioning risk assessments.
• Provide on-site and off-site support during commissioning phases (dependent on project) .

Qualifications, skills and experience:

• Bachelor's in Mechanical or Chemical (Process) Engineering
• 10 years of relevant engineering experience in the Mining and Metals industry
• 5+ years demonstrable commissioning lead experience
