
About your role…
We are looking to appoint a Senior / Principal Transport Consultant into WSP's Liveable Places team to be based out of our Southampton office, with flexible working allowing for a mix of home and in-office working.
WSP's Liveable Places team work with a wide range of local authority & private clients from across the UK to help them achieve their place making ambitions. As a Senior / Principal Transport Consultant within the team you will take the lead on delivering a wide range of schemes from concept to delivery - including public realm, active travel, traffic engineering, road safety, parking, traffic signals and pedestrian / traffic modelling.

About your team...
The Liveable Places team are based in offices across the country with over 200 staff, currently making up the team and with further growth planned. We enjoy our work and are exceptionally enthusiastic people who are great at what we do. This is an excellent opportunity for you to develop in your career through exposure to a wide variety of experiences.
Our Southampton team consists of 13 friendly and collaborative staff members who work closely with a broad range of clients, including National Highways, West Sussex County Council, East Sussex County Council, Gloucestershire County Council, Wokingham Borough Council, BCP Council and Somerset Council. Drawing on our collective expertise, we deliver a variety of schemes such as active travel initiatives, bus priority measures, traffic signal improvements, road safety projects, parking solutions, and enhancements to the public realm. Our approach is rooted in partnership and a shared commitment to making communities more accessible, sustainable, and vibrant.
This role provides a great opportunity to have a pivotal role within Liveable Places and help support and steer its growth going forward.
